> 24 hourIve bought other versions of this before (use 2.0 usb 3.0 with rj-45 as 10/100/1000) but this one shines above all the others. For the same price as the others, it delivers my 1000 network speed to as best it can across USB 2.0 at 240-250 mpbs as the usb 2.0 allows. Others drop to 100mpbs (really 80-90 mbps) and that was not what I was looking for. This runs without having to add windows drivers and has the added benefit of having the three port usb hub (3.0 backwards compatible to 2.0) and makes it possible to install anywhere even if youre out of usb ports. I really recommend this not only as a primary speed increase for an older system using usb2.0 but as a necessary troubleshooting tool for any system. Price vs. performance+features+ease-of-use makes this an extremely clear winner.

This adapter not only has the Ethernet port, it also has 3 extra USB slots which are 3.0 thank you so much for this integral piece of equipment to my home office space

> 24 hourFirst one I rcvd. had some freaky USB issues with Win10 Home on my HP 360x. Customer service was great and sent me another. I still havent used the Ethernet port, but the new one came with a CD/Drivers which may be necessary for win10. I loaded the drivers before plugging in the unit and the issues I had with the first unit are gone:)
