The Beatles - The Beatles white album - Capitol Records - SWBO 101 VG+/VG

These tracks sound almost as if Im hearing them as theyre being recorded. Ive listened to this album hundreds of times, but in this reissue, Im noticing little nuances I never heard before. Well done!

It’s the bloody Beatles white album...

Great album but I received a damage vinyl. Was shown a pearl white color and mine had the front half ruined by water marks and the back. Mine was also covered in tape and was falling apart.

I just got my White Album today and the covers a little worn but not too bad but both records was in such great condition. I Love It.

If you’re a big fan of the original release this 50th Anniversary box set is a must. It’s a spellbinding amount of music from the Fab Four at perhaps their most personally creative period.

Seriously, an unsurpassed classic. Brilliant.

Surprisingly, the surround mix of the White Album makes considerably more obvious use of the rear channels than the Sgt. Pepper surround mix did. Experience tells me that the dts surround mix would be guaranteed free of added compression (to make the music sound LOUDER), so that’s where I went to first. The surround mix is glorious and my review is based on it.

I’m a big fan of these remixes and this one is fantastic! Sounds great on vinyl as well!
