Been looking for one for a long time and I finally broke down and bought one.... Such a great buy.... The Beatles are awesome.

Just so everyone knows, any Beatles albums you see that are Japanese Mini LPs, are all fakes. They never made these CDs in this format. Youve been warned.

I could not believe it would exceed my expectations, great mixing, packaging, the best ever album re-edited to his perfection, and the extra CDs are a mesmerizing source of surprises

As if I need another reason to buy a Beatle Album. I thought about this purchase before I bought but Im glad I did. The Esher Demos are very important to understand how the songs were there before they were put on record. Its still hard for me to believe how easy it seemed for John, Paul, George and Ringo to come up with a new Double Album in 1968. George seems to come out of the background for this album. While My Guitar is probably his best, You have to see how Piggies was an inspired song also, An almost nursery rhyme quality about it. The packaging is great, the book alone is worth 50.00. a repilca poster and photos along with 6 cds and blu-ray which I havent checked out yet. Its worth the 130.00 price.

Its an amazing work and Giles Martin takes what was already a great album done by his father and makes it heaven. The clarity is incredible and surpasses what was done with his last effort on Pepper. Pepper was good but this will floor you with what one hears. I used to prefer the Mono version of The Beatles , but the 5.1 mix makes me want Revolver and Abbey Road.... worth every penny and well presented, its worth it !!!
