The Bose SoundLink Revolve, the Portable Bluetooth Speaker with 360 Wireless Surround Sound, Triple Black

Okay Bose products are amazing. I love them. However… for someone like myself who isn’t super tech savvy and has other Bose devices is wondering… this is not a “smart speaker” it will not connect to your internet and thus it cannot be synced with your other devices that way. It CAN connect and sync with other devices using Bluetooth in what they call “party mode”. But using the + speakers on the app when streaming isn’t possible. I’m sure this seems petty and strange… I use my soundbar which is wired to the internet (also has WiFi) on my TV. Sometimes I want what I’m watching sound on in the other room. I simply can add my other Bose on the app and they sync and are great. You cannot use this in that group. Perhaps this is obvious to some but it states in the description that you can sync and play multiple devices in the description… which you can… but only using Bluetooth.

Bought this speaker for basement for parties. First 18 months, we didnt use it a lot but when we did, it was awesome. It mostly sat on the shelf. Since corona quarantine, weve been working from home and using it a lot. After 2 months it stopped charging. I bought it with a charging station. We tried charging directly, into the port, tried new charging cable. Nothing. Now Bose wants $75 to fix something that cost me $200 + $29 for the charging station. On top of the inconvenience of shipping it to them, waiting for repair and shipping it back. So by the time I get it back, whats the point. I want it now for quarantine. I can buy many other products for less than $75 and Amazon will deliver them to my door tomorrow. I certainly didnt get $200 worth of use out of this for the time it functioned. I dont mind paying more for quality products with companies that stand behind them. I dont consider this standing behind your product. Bose has lost business forever.

Love it. Loud and clear when you want and soft and clear when you want it. Best thing I have purchased . Saved having to get a new stereo

Great sound! Great product in EVERY respect. BOSE always delivers as promised.

It looks great, it sounds great, it gets plenty loud and the battery life is good enough for me. It does its job.

Lasted an entire three days before it just gave up the ghost. Just stop working in middle of play. Would not reset or charge or anything. Just died. I had thrown the box away with serial number etc on it as Ive never had any issue with Bose. The customer service people would not help since no serial number and believe me when I say its not on the bottom of the speaker. If you purchase , take a photo of the serial number or keep the box I guess because if it dies like mine, you are gonna need it. ( Who has room for that kinda clutter? )

after 2 years product will no longer power on. im not sure if its battery protection mode or not. I charged it for days and still wont turn on.
