Who the hell needs a speaker that upon connecting states “ conncted to so and so iphone” or upon disconnection states “ disconnected ready to connect”. That they placed this feature implies they want to annoy the purchaser Though the sound is good Won’t buy bose again

Updated (April 19, 2017): Ive been using this speaker with Amazon dot for a few days now, and Ive noticed a few intermittent shutting off of sound while playing. The auto shut-off mode is disabled--see the original review below how to disable the shut-off mode. If I unplug the cable from the speaker and re-plug it back into the speaker, the sound comes back. Ive never noticed this problem with a simpler speaker the dot was previously connected to. So it must be this speaker. Original Review (5-stars. titled Great speaker with an option to disable its auto off mode!): Amazing speaker. I connect this to my Amazon Dot via aux cable. I had to press Aux and + at the same time and the speaker speaks, saying Auto off is disabled. Press the same buttons again to enable it again. By default its enabled.

I love this speaker. It was very easy to pair with and I have never had an issue with the battery life (I did get the charging cradle too).

No Complaints so far. Excellent product.

The window to return was March 21st, and a bit over two weeks later it knows when plugged in, but does not charge.

Sound quality could be a lot better. Size is nice but not conducive to good sound. Make it bigger and work on clarity and audio quality. As it is, it’s overpriced and only somewhat ok for small spaces.

The sound that comes out of this tiny thing is just amazing! In three days, my little Bose is the go to speaker at work

Sounds amazing. Entire family is loving it. Way better than the cheap speakers we have bought in the past.

After a DAY I had to contact Bose for replacement.
