This wand is very well made and quite sturdy. I ordered this for a Harry Potter gift set Im making a friend. While I would not recommend this for a younger child, kids that know how to be gentle with objects would find this great. The box it comes in is also a great plus, looks very sharp!

I bought this wand for my ssiter who has always been a fan of HP. I was fully aware that it was a collectable, but i thought that going by reviews i was getting a finely crafted piece of wood. Instead i got a piece of plastic. She still loved it which i guess is the most important thing but what i got from the pictures and reviews and what I got, i was disappointed.
