My dad (92) just loves Errol Flynn and its a good movie with romance and action. We adore Olivia DeHavalland as well. Its an awesome movie that you can watch as a family without all the immoralities of present time Hollywood.

This movie continues the Custer as Hero myth which really should not be taken seriously when we know what a cruel, wicked racist he was. Custer and General Sheridan were interested in the fertility and mineral wealth of the region which led to massive white immigration and its encroachment on the Indian reservation. The white man started the fight with the Sioux, under Sitting Bull, for the same reason as always--money. This movie is an example of Institutional racism. Perhaps Amazon should sell DVDs about the heroic Hitler or the heroic Milosovitch and their ethnic cleansing? Why is it any different when it is Native Americans?

Service was terrific!! Movie had one glitch which wasnt to bad.

My husband, sons and myself enjoyed this movie, although Im a bit embarrassed to say that I found myself saying Wow--I didnt know it happened that way! (it didnt). My only complaint is that, whereas I usually enjoy colorized movies, I found the colorization of this movie to be a bit distracting. Colors often bled into areas where they didnt belong. In one main character the face was skin colored, but the facial scruffiness was in black and white (although not completely consistently). I understand why this version of the movie has not been made into a DVD. The colorization quality is too poor.

I love our country and the excellent military establishments that has come along way to being more disciplined than back in Custers days of skull-dabbery and malicious exploits!

Errol flynn and olivia dehavilland are my favorite classic actors, and i liked the story about general custard and the little black horn.
