They Died With Their Boots On

> 3 dayIt is hard to believe how long ago this movie was made. It shows the lighter side of Custer and how plain dumb like made such an impact on his life. I am not a historian so I have no idea if this movie is historically accurate. (To be honest, I am not a stickler for it being an accurate portrayal.) If you like watching old movies, this is a good one.

> 3 dayI saw this film for the first time many years ago - and certainly more than I now wish to count. But for me its still a gripping production that I have once again greatly enjoyed.

> 3 dayI Know many people remark about the historical inaccuracies of this film, but if it is a history lesson you seek-go to school. This is a movie and an excellent one at that. True, many of the characters represent real people, but as I said it is a movie. It has good writing and a well acted plot. Most of all, it has Errol Flynn and Olivia DeHaviland in their last appearnce together. As was typical of Flynns movies, you can expect humor, romance, and a whole lot of action. Look for Anthony Quinn as Geronimo. Enjoy this for what it is, an Errol Flynn movie, not a history lesson

> 3 dayThis is a good movie, however I thought I was buying the U.S.A. version but the packaging on the movie is in Korean(I think). The movie is in English though.

> 3 dayA very idealistic portrayal of Custer as savior and martyr for the Indian - and for that, an examination of our American filmic past.
