> 3 dayThis Triazzle puzzle is almost the same as one I had many years ago, only smaller. The frog design appears to be the same, however this puzzle is, I’d guess, about 50% smaller than the one I had in the 1990s. This is actually a bit welcome, as the issue with the larger Triazzle puzzle of the past was sometimes finding a place to store it flat. The puzzle appears simple, but once you dump all the pieces out you’ll find that it’s not quite as simple as it looks, and just when you think you may have the puzzle solved, you may find the last few pieces just don’t fit! It’s a fun puzzle, the only issue is once you recall where a few key pieces go, it does become a bit easier. Even now, years later when working with the puzzle, my brain still recalls where one key puzzle piece goes, however, it’s still fun to figure the rest of the puzzle out! The puzzle is made well of sturdy board material. The puzzle pieces fit snugly, the printing is good, and overall it’s a fun puzzle!

> 3 dayBought it for my 8- and 10-year old, they both thought its a baby puzzle since it doesnt have too many pieces, but it took them multiple attempts and over an hour to solve it! This puzzle is good for kids from 8 to 13 that love solving puzzle. It requires both logical thinking and patient to solve it.

Greater than one weekThis brainteasing puzzle is so much fun! I know it says its for ages 8 and up, but I got it for my mom (who probably doesnt want me to write her age) - but shes over fifty. She loves crosswords, jigsaws, gin rummy, and anything else that stimulates her brain. The first time she tried this puzzle, it took her hours and she had to cheat to complete it! Beautiful pictures of butterflies, hours of entertainment even if youre a grown-up, and a small convenient size so you can store it or take it anywhere. The pieces fit together well, so there isnt the issue of pieces falling out and making a mess on the floor or the couch. She loves it!

> 3 dayWhen my husband opened the package for this puzzle he asked why I got a little kids puzzle when our kids are teenagers. I promptly took it apart, mixed up the pieces and challenged him to put it back together. An hour later, he still hadnt succeeded. This puzzle is deceptively simple. Sixteen triangular pieces in a larger triangular frame with various butterflies (I think there are 6 or 7 different butterflies) along the edges of each piece. You have to arrange the triangles so that the proper butterflies line up along each edge to create a whole butterfly. The problem is, it is very easy to fit two sides, but not so easy to fit all three. There is only one right solution that will align all the butterflies, but there are seemingly infinite possibilities that dont work (Im sure the number of possibilities can be worked out mathematically, but thats above my pay grade). If you look closely, there are logical ways to start and proceed. Corner pieces, for instance, already have two sides given and there are only two or three pieces which will fit in any given corner. Then from there you can find other areas where there are only a couple of choices and try to eliminate them down to the correct fit. Using this bit of logic (and a whole lot of luck), I managed to complete the puzzle in about half an hour). The puzzle is made of reasonably sturdy cardboard, but Im not sure how well it will hold up with repeated use. It is also certainly not waterproof (much less glue, slime or other such substances), so it is best kept away from young children. Im also not sure how much re-play value this puzzle has. Theoretically you can solve it over and over again and it wouldnt necessarily get easier over time. But I wonder how many people will be motivated to do so - I cant say that I am. This is a decent puzzle for an older child or adult, but probably something best suited for a school, retirement home or other facility where it will get used by multiple people.

> 3 dayI made two mistakes with this puzzle: 1. I should have taken a picture of the puzzle before I removed it from the shrink wrap, and 2. I should have numbered the pieces on the back so I would know how to put it together! Im joking, but this puzzle is a challenge. You definitely use your problem-solving skills and deductive reasoning as advertised. I have several ThinkFun games and I think they are fantastic. The only thing I would change with this puzzle would be to include a sleeve of some kind to put it in when not in use. Definitely a winner.

Greater than one weekI should have taken the manufacturers at their word: it really is harder than it looks! This is very cleverly designed so that just when you think youve solved it, it turns out that you need to start over because you made a mistake right at the beginning. My wife grabbed this as soon as it arrived with an air of This is going to be easy. Two hours later she was getting pretty frustrated. I tried to help, but then I started to get frustrated too! This really is a head-scratcher. Unlike a conventional jigsaw, this clever puzzle misleads you into thinking youve gotten some of the pieces in the right place, on for you to later realize that you made some kind of mistake. I lent this to a friend who is an avid jigsawist--when I saw her two hours later she was still working on it. In short--this is really fun and deceptively difficult. I think Ill be buying the other two designs!

> 3 dayThis dolphin triazzle puzzle is quite a fun challenge. It looks like it would be easy until you give it a try. Each piece is simply a triangle shape, but can fit in multiple spaces. The head area of a dolphin lines up with the tail along the edge and you think you have it until you continue on and run into pieces that dont go together. Really a great brain working problem solver puzzle that is great for all ages. The size is nice not at all big or clunky and can be easily stored in between games in the game cabinet. We are very happy with the quality and challenging fun of this puzzle and definitely recommend. Would make a great gift for families.
