I manage a veterinary hospital and for Vet Tech Appreciation week I purchased this and 100 white cotton masks. Upon reading the directions, I had a question about the soda ash soak so I emailed the company on the box. I got a very quick and helpful response. I just had to wash the masks without fabric softener, then soak in the soda ash and water for about 30 minutes prior to us tie-dying. The tie dying was a hit!!!! I even rang out the extra masks and stored them in ziplocs so people who weren’t on shift at the time of the party were still able to tie dye when it was their shift and it still worked. It’s been 3 days since we mixed up the colors and people are still tie -dying and everything is still coming out beautifully. I bought the 24 pack and had plenty of dye for 100 masks!! There’s also a wide variety of colors too! This was such a fun project!!

This kit worked out really well for the event I was planning! You have to be careful and wear the gloves will touching the dye bottles as even the dry powder stained my hands.

I ordered this kit for my kiddos to enjoy one of the first truly warm days the northeast had. The setup was a breeze. The color is already in the bottle, you just add warm water. My biggest complaint about it was the colors came out of the bottles soooo quick, it was difficult for my kids to get rhe patterns they wanted. Also while rinsing out shirts that had red the red bled and immediately turned all the white parts if the shirts pink, so that was frustrating. Lastly a few items we dyed didnt hold the dye, with ither brands I havent had issues with the dye rinsing right out regardless of fabric. All in all it was a decent product, id buy it again, I just hope the company can maybe adjust somethings to make the product go from good to great!

This is the worst tie die I have ever bought. I did everything the instructions said I rinsed till clear and washed everything it looks faded all the color were bleeding and honestly nothing is wearable all the wasted money between the kit and the white clothes. Do yourself the favor and order a different brand. My kids are so bummed that the things they made look nothing like them.
