The dye washes out after 1 wash. Not worth it

Very little color sank in to any of the tie dye projects, even where we were just coloring bandanas rather than actual t-shirts. Disappointing.

Had no trouble with the blue bleeding over onto white...BUT any shirt that used the red, well, it basically turned pink in all the white places. Also orange color bled as well leaving one of our shirts with more of a dingy tan color in place of where the white should be since that shirt had the red and orange colors. Two stars because the colors were vibrant and dark and because at least the green and blues stayed put, but it’s definitely very disappointing to use this kit if you want your white to stay white. I’ve used other brands in the past where red did not do that!

My granddaughter was so happy to receive this gift. Now she has another project to keep her happy and busy.

I tie dyed, 4 kids shirts size 6, one adult shirt, 2 king size pillow cases, and 2 handkerchiefs all with this kit. The gloves are pretty useless very papery feeling(used latex gloves). I needed extra rubber bands for my complicated designs, but there is plenty for simple spirals. I did soak everything in washing soda for 5-10 min before adding dye. I like the colors in this kit very vibrant and fun.
