Yes, this model is different from the regular Tomtoc Switch case and fits the OLED much better. I own the regular case for my old Switch and tried using it for the OLED, but the fit was so tight that I couldnt get my fingers around the side of the Switch to pull it out. Instead, I had to awkwardly dump the OLED Switch out, risking a fall. This OLED model case is slightly larger, leaving a bit of side gap to safely pull the OLED Switch out. Its just as sturdy as the previous case, but now elongated a few mm to fit the new Switch. The white option is beautiful and matches the white Switch nicely. Secondly - this is a protective device, and like all protective devices its intended to take all the scrapes and scuffs that would otherwise end up on the thing its protecting. If you expect such a protective device to remain free of said scrapes and scuffs, then youre living in an alternate reality. White shoes, white jacket, white suitcase - all these things will show marks eventually and require a bit of extra care if you wish for them to remain pristine. So is the case with this case. Its not a dirt-magnet or anything, but if you think its going to stay white as snow for the rest of its life without some effort, then youre delusional. Buy a different color. I got the white because I think it looks great and matches my Switch. Im willing to deal with a few scuffs - just shows how good of a job its doing at protecting my Switch.

First of all, the gradient color on the outside is beautiful. It feels very sturdy as its hard when you squeeze it. With a switch inside, I feel comfortable just tossing this in a backpack or tote bag knowing it will be ok and not get damaged. This case is actually in use daily by my 9 year old who takes it to her grandmas house, up and down the stairs and os constantly taking it in and out of the case, and the switch has held up perfectly because of the case. We love the flap on the inside that holds game carts and also adds that extra layer of protection over the screen. The zipper opens and closes flawlessly, it never gets stuck or snagged when using. The carry handle on the top is a perfect thickness to use for my 9 year old, and also for my adult hands. Ive put a switch OLED model and the original switch in this case and both fit perfectly and snugly, no wiggle room to jeopardize its security.

The material on the outer shell is amazing. This is gorgeous. High quality, looks nice and expensive. Love it. Tomtoc is always the best!

I use tomtoc travel cases for mine and my husbands laptops and love them so when I saw that they made OLED Switch cases as well it was a no brainer. I wanted a thin case since I travel with my switch in my purse and most other cases add too much bulk for my liking. This one is perfect! Thin and low profile while still adding cushioned protection for the Switch. The cut outs in the lid perfectly line up with the buttons and joysticks and even fit fine with my stick grips on. There are 10 pockets for games and it is easy to put the game cards in and take them out. The zippers are metal and feel quality and the handle feels nice as well, not flimsy at all. My Switch doesnt rattle or move around in the case so it fits it perfectly. Overall, great quality case!

No issues at all with a tight fit or incorrectly positioned joystick pockets as described in a few negative reviews. Fit seems perfect on the OLED Switch with Nintendo brand JoyCons. Love the color and looking forward to traveling with it.

I wanted to start using my switch on my long train commute to/from work. This is perfectly slim for my bag. I carry my charger separately but it doesnt bother me.

Case looks and feels great but mine came already stained?? Was it a return? If so there should be a quality control look-over before shipping. I hate having to go through the process of exchanges and taking time out of my day to ship items back just to get the item I bought in the first place. Ill see if stain remover fixes it but otherwise oh well.

The case is super sturdy, feels great. Zippers are high quality and they include a little wrist band as well. I got the blue gradient color and its a nice color I like it, but its little tacky.. never the less its a nice color and its done well. I cant really tell if the joystick bumps actually line up with the joysticks though? Its a snug case but the switch has a small amount of room to move left or right so its just hard to tell if the bumps actually line up. Im assuming that they do once the case is completely closed and zipped up. But its just tough to tell. If I end up getting joycon drift Ill definitely update this for sure but Id assume that theyd done the measurements right and Ill assume so until proven otherwise. And if proven otherwise Ill update this review but so far everything is super great! I think its a great option especially if youre like me and want something super slim.
