> 3 dayThis seems like it would have been a good case. But the indentations do not line up with the OLED properly. This case is listed as compatible with both the regular Nintendo Switch and the OLED model. The OLED switch is 3mm wider. With the OLED centered in the case, the joysticks are barely on the outer edge of the indentations. I would expect this case to have a model specifically made for the OLED, and then a different model for regular. Instead they made an updated version that seems to not quite fit both.

> 3 dayThis case works with most thumb grip covers in my experience. Fits the oled switch perfectly and is hard enough on the outside that it feels very protected.

> 3 dayIf you want a way to carry your Switch and a few games without increase the size much compared to just the Switch alone then this is an excellent case. It is made as slim as possible while still being sturdy enough to safely transport your switch in a backpack, suitcase, or just on its own. The outer shell feels durable and has enough stiffness to prevent things from crushing your Switch. It is molded as tight as possible, with raised areas to accommodate the control sticks and buttons on the top, and a molded bottom that is the same shape as the bottom of the Switch. The case has two zippers and also features a detachable hand strap. The inside of the case has a soft liner to keep your Switch from being dinged up or scratched. There is a flap that lays across the switch screen. One side of the flap is the soft material, while the other side has 10 slots for holding your game cards. Combined with one game in the system this allows you to carry up to 11 games. You’ll still need to carry your charger and any other accessories separately, but those really don’t need to be protected like the Switch itself does so you can just toss them in your bag next to the case.

> 3 dayBought months ago and it is the best switch case in design, had the same tomtoc line case for my original switch and this is just as finely made. I also have tomtoc messenger bag and its great. Cant say just how good tomtoc quality is and will always recommend them.

> 3 dayI like to pack my Switch a lot with my EDC gear because sometimes it’s nice to decompress whenever we get the chance - I read enough! It has done a great job protecting my Switch from the monstrosities that comprise of the contents in my backpack (keys, water bottle, lunch, books, #campuslife) I have never used TomToc before now but they have made a fan. Stores more games than I currently can afford. Just this weekend I packed my unit into a duffel with all kinds of things (laptop, power adapters) and it did exactly what it was suppose to do. Now I need to get a case for the dock so I can stop wrapping it in a t-shirt.

> 3 daySo while there is an older version of this case, it’s not fully compatible with the Switch OLED as the cutouts for the face buttons/analog sticks don’t quite line up correctly, and are a tad undersized in general. While it “works,” - this is clearly the superior case here. This latest version of the case solves these problems, and as far as minimalist protection in a case goes, I love this one. The Switch is protected from the zippers, it fits perfectly, room for some game cartridges etc. Great stuff. 5 out of 5. Love this one.

> 3 dayOkay Ive had the Nintendo original case and it is huge compared to this. The design they used is perforated at the joycon and the buttons to maximize its skinniness. Its the slimmest you can get but the maximum protection it can have surviving falls and even spills. You can only fit your switch and 10 games, so if you have the adaptors to turn your joycons on your controller into two separate controllers - youll have to carry that separately which is the only negative I give it. Whenever I take it on planes I usually like to play Mario Kart and having those adaptors fit would be great, but a very small negative.
