Purchased looking for monitoring plug that would still work with Tuya-convert. While only 10A, they do still work with Tasmota!

I had attached this to an insta-hot water dispenser, first left the smart plug remain on 24/7 for a week to obtain a baseline of my hot water dispensers energy usage, then I set it on a schedule to eliminate 10 hrs out of the day, when I wouldnt be needing my HW dispenser and I saw a ±20% reduction in the energy use, so the energy tracking of this smart plug appears to be working fairly accurately. The insta-HW dispenser has a pretty high energy demand to heat/maintain the water to 180°F, so this smart plug is capable/rated for high wattage devices. Highly recommended!

I bought these to see how much energy my fridge and another appliance was using. These plugs worked good. Now I am currently just using them as a scheduler for my indoor lights. Would by again.

I was looking high and low for a timer for my pool pump and most of them would not handle the amperage that the pump draws. I purchased a pair of these and was really surprised that it will start and stop my pool pump at the times that I select. It even tells me how much power is being used by the day and for the month along with past months.

    — Edit Was able to get the others working - still not a fan of Chinese data collection devices, but we sell our souls (data) for the sake of convenience. — Original Two issues I had with this. 1) I could only get 1 of the 4 devices to connect. The other 3 are useless. So that’s a dealbreaker to begin with. Money wasted, hours lost. 2) I have to give this device my WiFi info (understandable) AND location data all the time just to get it to work (ridiculous). I understand that certain features might require location data, but I only need it to tell me how much electricity is running through it. A Chinese (spyware?) device that collects way more data than necessary worries me.

Im not a big home automation freak, but I did want my air conditioner to get a head start cooking my room down before I got home. This plug was easy to set up, works flawlessly and is UL rated, which not all smart plugs can claim. Since its a two pack, I put my boot dryer on the other plug. I had the dryer on a mechanical timer and wasted a lot of energy, this plug lets me set scheduling for my work days vs my off days. Its awesome.

What I was looking for from the Energy Monitor is that it drew power from 10:32:15 to 10:32:23 (e.g. 8 seconds). And then again between 13:32:15 to 13:32:28, and then again between 20:32:15 to 20:32:28. I’m more interested that it DID draw power – when - and for how long - as opposed to how much TOTAL power it’s consumed in a day - which is what this does. E.g. Your computer sucked 20kW today – BAM – it’s got that if that’s what you want. I’ve never lived anywhere with a sump pump before and it’s been running a lot lately. Just looking to be sure it runs ‘sometimes’ without making a trip to the basement every day… I had an ice block of the outlet outside recently, and was probably REALLY close to flooding my basement. Woke up to it running and splashing because it couldn’t discharge with the outside ice in the way. If it’s run for more than 15 seconds… I HAVE A PROBLEM, and that’s what I’m trying to solve. So this is great for what it says it will do… and for that it gets high marks, I probably just read too much into it and will probably have to program my own IFTTT ;).

I purchased a two pack, one to do general energy monitoring on any appliance, and one dedicated to charging one of our cars over 110v. Conclusion: Easy to setup, works with Google and Amazon voice assistants, lots of features for the price making it a great value. I really like the hardware (5/5): + Supports 15 amps (allows for a buffer around my cars 12 amp charger) + Energy monitoring + Easy to setup and use. Plug it in, hold the only button for several seconds to put into pairing mode, short presses to turn the switch on and off. + Responsive integration into Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa - Does not remember power state. If you lose power, or unplug the device, the outlet will always default back to the off position. App is good, but could be even better (4/5): + No Subscription + Easy to integrate into Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa + Automation section allows On/Off based on a number of triggers (Sunrise/Sunset, Outside temperature, humidity, weather, another TOPGREENER device, etc.) + Has room management abilities, so I can turn off a whole room instead of just one device using voice assistants. - No random On/Off windows to mimic someone being home - Energy Monitoring only shows Instantaneous, Daily and Monthly totals. No hourly or weekly views. - No IFTTT integration yet (which opens up a lot more options) Notes: - Requires 2.4ghz Wifi - The size is big, and can cover both outlets if used on the bottom. But the product pictures should have given that away. I wouldnt subtract a star for buying exactly whats pictured.

The device feels plastic and cheap but its only the exterior feeling, the device seems to be a very robust one and works almost perfectly, the app is the only downside to it, its just another one of those tuya apps, if you recognize that name, then you know what I am saying, is a copy paste of another apps, and it feels a bit empty on some areas such as the power meter side, but it gets the job done, I wish they would put a bit more effort on the app and expand its capabilities, I am sure it is possible to do it though an app update, and it will greatly improve the possibilities and potencial of the device

Set up: could not for the life of me get these set up with an Android device. Tried my phone and tablet, but while I could get them on the network with both, they just wouldnt detect beyond that. I had to borrow my daughters iPhone to get them into our account. That worked like a champ. Once paired, the Android devices work fine. Usage: Seems flawless. Easily paired with Alexa, can turn the plugs on and off with the app, or by calling out for Alexa to do it. power usage, what I bought this for primarily, is pretty cool Keeps track over time in a handy graph. Exactly what I needed.
