> 24 hourI thought I was getting a super deal on this kit. Ive seen it in stores and its twice the price. I was wrong. I was tricked. The bottles are tiny! The kits from the craft store come with bigger bottles than this kit. The part that really makes me mad though, is theres no hint that these bottles are small. The bottles dont have a description on them, the box doesnt say how big the bottles are, and the listing doesnt include it either. It was easy to use and the colors were beautiful, but I wouldnt buy it again just because of the size of the bottles.

> 24 hourWe were very impressed with how vibrant the colors came out! We bought this kit to use as an activity for a family get together event at our daycare. I saw a few of the shirts after they had been washed, and I was super impressed how great the colors came out. Most people used 100% cotton shirts, but I happen to have a 60 cotton/40 polyester t-shirt that I tried out, and even with the 40% polyester, it turned out very well. 100% cotton was definitely more vibrant, but I wouldnt stress if I couldnt fine a 100% cotton shirt (they arent easy to find, since everything has poly nowadays). Great variety of colors- especially enjoyed the teal and navy, and surprisingly, the black turned out really nice with other brighter colors.

> 24 hourWe bought some tie-dye kits as birthday gifts for grandkids (out of town)...& it looked like it was going to be so much fun, that we bought one for ourselves! Boy was it ever fun! This kit may seem like it has a ton of dye (18 bottles), but we actually used ALL OF IT...lol. Made 5 adult (mens) XXL & 5 XL t-shirts plus 6 bandanas. ( if you were using this for kids, would surely make 3x as much:) Kit is great ~ besides dye, there are gloves, rubber bands, a table covering (will definitely need this!) and an easy to understand instruction guide. The bottom half of the very nice plastic case serves as a catcher for the dye; as recommended, we put wire racks (like cooling racks for baking) over the top of this box (& also a disposable aluminum pan)...then when you apply the dye to the fabric, excess (mostly:) drips in the box/pan below ~ much less messy than putting things directly on table. When done, the box/case was so nice, we saved it...& are using it for something else. Absolutely would buy this again, great product for a very reasonable price!

> 24 hourThis set is awesome! We bought it to have as a rainy day activity on our family vacation. It was perfect. We were able to tie dye 6 mens small undershirts and 5 kids XL tank undershirts and had lots of colors left. Best thing is all the items came out looking like the kids wanted them to! They look fantastic. It was so easy. We used foil pans to help contain the mess which worked great. This set would be prefect for a party!

> 24 hourThis is the perfect kit for tie dye. I ordered this kit for my 9 year old and now all of our white clothes is tie dyed from her. She had so much fun. This kit is so easy to use. All you need to do it full up the bottles it come with, with water and give it a little shake, then rubber band your clothes. I would definitely recommend putting down the drop cloth that it comes with and wearing the gloves. Just a heads up, the dye didnt work well on spandex clothes.

> 24 hourWe had about 6 kids over for a party plus parents. I ordered one bc of reviews that said one is enough. When I got it the bottles were so small so I got another. We used one full out plus 4 bottles from the 2nd with the popular colors. This is my first time doing this. But I attached a photo to show two different results after rinse and wash. On the first photo on the top is a vibrant one, on the bottom is a ok one but a little faded, it looked so good before washing it. Most of mine faded after wash and I followed instructions. I let both stew in the bag for 17 hours. So here are my tips, if you want vibrant and contrast in the result, you must tie the bands tight AND be very generous with the dye. It is easy to use half a bottle on one tee shirt. So each bin comes with two bottles of each color (or at least the popular colors). So if you get one and you are worried it wont last for all the projects you want to do, you will not saturate the shirt enough because you want everyone to have enough dye. So I would advise get another box just in case. And then make sure you are using the tightness of the band to prevent the dye from dying the fabric and then generously apply the dye so that it really gets into the fabric. If you dont put enough and the bands arent tight enough then it will fade during the rinse and wash. But I havent tested my theory. In the future if I really want vibrant I would probably do it without the party so I can focus on mine being really good and vibrant. I even dyed a few for myself before the party but I was concerned about using up too much dye so they first looked amazing but when I rinsed and washed and dried they faded a lot and the white spots got a smidge bluish. The other two photos you can see the range of results I got.
