> 3 dayThis set comes with 18 bottles filled with dye powder that guy just add water and mix and is ready to use! It comes with a pair of dye gloves and rubber bands in a plastic case with handle. One bottle was enough for three tshirts, but ran out of popular colors fast. Very easy to use and highly recommend!

> 3 dayThis kid has beautiful colors and is super easy and super cute. The colors are vibrant and it was very fun making tie-dye shirts with my niece. The only thing is I suggest not using the day after it’s already been mixed for a couple days. We didn’t use it all at once so it was already mixed for a few months and we tried it again and the colors didn’t come out as vibrant but they definitely still looked pretty just lighter.

> 3 dayThis was so much fun easy and no mass. We actually did it in the kitchen on the island with athe plastic sheet. Provided. The shirts came out so bright. We were able to do for adult extra large and four youth extra large such a great gift.

> 3 dayThis is the perfect kit for tie dye. I ordered this kit for my 9 year old and now all of our white clothes is tie dyed from her. She had so much fun. This kit is so easy to use. All you need to do it full up the bottles it come with, with water and give it a little shake, then rubber band your clothes. I would definitely recommend putting down the drop cloth that it comes with and wearing the gloves. Just a heads up, the dye didnt work well on spandex clothes.

> 3 dayUsed one box for a birthday party of 12 kids! Each was able to dye their shirts with plenty of it left! Would recommend!

> 3 dayWriting this review on behalf of me and 3 other adults that tried to make tie dye shirts for the first time in over 2 decades. Tie dying itself is not as easy as it looks to make the super cool designs we wanted, my review is just on the product not the outcome of our shirts! Ease of use: Very easy! Product includes instructions that are simple to follow. Again my shirts turning out like clown vomit were not the fault of the package but us adults that have no practice! Ink colors: Loved how many colors there were! I couldn’t tell if there were 2 bottles of each color or the colors were just slightly different but it didn’t matter because we did about 12 shirts and still have half the ink bottles untouched. Other stuff: Gloves in the package are the only thing I would complain about, they are like big floppy deli counter gloves that make it hard to play in so we used some nitrile gloves laying around to have more dexterity Rubber bands: tons and tons and tons Instructions: very simple OVERALL- highly recommend and have bought this 2x times now!

Greater than one weekI was making shirts for camp, for 10 adults and 20+ kids. We did adults the first night to figure it all out. We were messy with it, putting too much dye on them, with dye dripping off of them. Several adults liked blue and green, and we used up all the light blue and most of the pink in one of the kits, but otherwise had at least half of the other colors leftover. When we did it with the kids the next day, we had them drop it very carefully, a few drops at a time. Much much less messy, much more controlled, no dye running all over, and PLENTY of all colors. We just wasted a lot the first time. With 30 shirts, and 2 kits, we still had half bottles of a lot of colors. Details: in both cases, we twisted and handed the shirts, then dyed them. Then we put each shirt in a ziplock bag, sealed, for 8ish hours. After that, we rinsed each stilled twisted shirt with water until it ran mostly clear, then put them all in a Rubbermaid tub with water and several cups of vinegar for about a half hour. After the vinegar, we drained them, unbanded them, and threw them all in the wash together. They came out beautifully. Tips: wear gloves. If kids are doing it, wear aprons or paint shirts. If adults are doing it, consider aprons or paint shirts. Consider doing it outside. We did it on an old picnic table and it was fine. There is a thin tablecloth in the kit, if you’re on a nice, big table, cover it well.
