This was a great project for my grand daughter and myself. It really was a great time and we did a time laps video of us making the shirts. I would suggest leaving on as long as you can but even after only 12 hours they were great. I just about could live it Tie Dye shirts forever. I had read some things about using Soda Ash first and I did get some but it turns out for Tulip Brand like this I guess it is in it already and not needed. Just get damp, wrap up however, bag it for a day and rinse out like crazy. I did wash with other like shirts with a tiny bit of color safe bleach to help set the dye and seemed to work great.

my father recently passed so to lift our spirits my mother, sister, and I had a “tie dye party” and bought two of these kits and it was great! the colors are INCREDIBLE!! There is such a wife variety and they are so fun and vibrant! Even after washing they look great! The product is super easy to use just rubberband your tie dye item of choice then fill the color dispenser with some water and shake and tie dye!! Super fun activity for all ages! I’ll have to buy some more!

My daughter is a fanatic of tie-dyed stuff. We bought this kit with low expectations. Low due to the several other kits from various stores we have purchased and tried. The colors faded too quickly with the other kits. This kit however, is PERFECT. Instructions are easy to read. It comes with all the supplies you need to keep a clean area and hands. The colors are amazing. They came out vibrant and after a few washes are still very vibrant. This is the beginner kit for anyone who likes to dye.

I got this to try for a fun summertime activity to do outside. It has been years since I’ve tie dyed anything, so I would definitely consider myself a beginner. This kit made everything so easy! My five year old and I dyed probably 8 kids shirts, 6 adult shirts, and 5 pairs of kids socks to use every drop of dye. The dye stained our skin as expected, but not for too long. I followed the setting instructions exactly, and after a few washes, everything still looks vibrant and bright! And the kids love the wearable artwork! I plan to make this an annual project.

I loved this kit and for it being half off, you couldn’t beat it. I do wish that there were two blacks and 2 navy blues, as there were doubles in every other color but those. I kind of got myself in a pickle when tie-dying blue and black because there were not doubles, the bottles are very small so if you’re working on a larger project you would definitely need refills

These are great! Vibrant colors my kids loved it! But I bought the set for my two kids knowing we didn’t have enough tie dye to use all of it at once but I mixed it all so they could have a variety of colors expecting to use it again in a few weeks or something. But after I read the directions fully it said to use it all at once because the dye will start losing color. My fault for not reading fully but j would have had them pick a few colors each and mix only those for the first time and leave the rest unmixed. Lesson learned.

This kit yielded 5 gorgeous, vibrant shirts. We have a bit of dye left and could probably do a few more if we werent extremely selective of the colors. I do think they overrepresented the amount of shirts you could do, but I really oversaturated ours because I wanted bright, beautiful colors so Im sure that was a factor. The kit contains everything you need other than the shirts including even a drop cloth. It also includes a sheet showing you some techniques. We turned to YouTube prior to making the shirts for some additional ideas. Each of us chose our own colors and technique and made our own shirts representing our individual styles. It was a great family activity! My teenage son wanted to put forth the least amount of effort he could so he chose the easiest method of just scrunching up the shirt. I loosely tied a band around it so it stayed scrunched and we put just one color of dye on it. It turned out gorgeous with barely any effort, almost zero! I think this kit is great for beginners, groups, parties, anyone really who wants to get creative and create a wearable work of art. Even teenagers!

My niece and her mom had a great mommy/daughter craft day for beginners making their own tie die shirts for vacation. The final look was great.

Super easy instructions and pretty good, vibrant colors if you follow instructions well. I preached my items and left damp from rinse cycle to dye. Be sure to saturate well and let sit in a plastic bag/zip lock to develop colors. Best to wash individually or with similar colors in washing machine so colors dont stain lighter dyes.

We used this kit at a birthday party with 13 shirts tie dyed. It worked great, easy to use and had everything we needed! I bought 2 kits just in case but I only needed a couple extra colors from the other kit. The shirts turned out great!
