These are great! Vibrant colors my kids loved it! But I bought the set for my two kids knowing we didn’t have enough tie dye to use all of it at once but I mixed it all so they could have a variety of colors expecting to use it again in a few weeks or something. But after I read the directions fully it said to use it all at once because the dye will start losing color. My fault for not reading fully but j would have had them pick a few colors each and mix only those for the first time and leave the rest unmixed. Lesson learned.

The kit comes with everything you need, the instructions are easy to follow and the end result is beautiful brightly colored fabric!!! I had so much fun tye dyeing my sheets, a shirt, pillow cases and a hoodie. Will dye anything the color touches.

We were able to make 20 t shirts. Half were size youth Small and half were adult X-Large . The shirts weren’t overly saturated, no dye was wasted.

We used the kit with grandchildren. 10 year old grand daughter thoroughly enjoyed using her imagination to do many shirts. 8 year old grandson lost interest after 1 shirt. We did this on our deck table outside on days it wouldnt rain, putting each shirt one at a time on my cookie cooling racks that were over a tray to catch all the drips from the dye. We pre washed 100% cotton t shirts before applying color. Some shirts were done without the enclosed rubber bands. When we were running low on the colors we liked, we added more water to the bottles. There are disposable gloves included that are ill fitting, so I preferred to use my good disposable gloves. We never finished the shirts after applying dye and letting them dry. They still need to be individually rinsed and then washed so we will see how they do then.

I love the idea of this product, the color variety is great and the box and everything that comes with it is great too. However the quality of the actual dye is very poor. They wash out almost immediately no matter what you do to set the colors. End result is tie dye that looks faded and muddy because everything runs together. What’s worse is that the color keeps dripping no matter how many washes the fabric goes through, so you can’t wear any of the clothes because it continues to stain your skin and any other fabric it the tie dye touches. you would be MUCH better off spending a little more money and having a product that comes out right and actually lasts.

These did the job, but we didn’t really like how runny the ink was after the water was added. It made it kind of a mess and hard to control where the color went. Also could have used more rubber bands since this is supposed to be good for a ton of projects. Great for the price, but not my favorite tie dye kit I’ve ever bought. Still a fun project!

Super easy instructions and pretty good, vibrant colors if you follow instructions well. I preached my items and left damp from rinse cycle to dye. Be sure to saturate well and let sit in a plastic bag/zip lock to develop colors. Best to wash individually or with similar colors in washing machine so colors dont stain lighter dyes.

Instructions were clear and final results were great!! My boys (3 and 9) did their own BY THEMSELVES! I just banded the shirts for them. This was such a fun activity for a Sunday. Of course I tried to get fancy with mine and had a couple of dye dots, but I still think it looks great! We have enough colors and bands leftover to do it again soon with different patterns. I can’t wait to try the pastel colors in the future. Used on 100% cotton plain white shirts. They did not express how careful you should be with this dye (it stains the skin) just make sure to wear old clothes and put rubber bands around the gloves at your wrists. We did the job outside on a sunny day. We put the dyed shirts in baggies and waited 24 hours and left them in the sun before rinsing then washing them. I’m obsessed and snatching every plain white piece of fabric around the house for round 2- nothing is safe!!!

I was able to dye all of my father in laws undershirts, my mother in laws knickers, and a table cloth with this set. The powder/bottle setup was self explanatory and the colors came out great!

Based off reviews I decided to order this item over other tie dye kits because I had 21 items I was planning on dying. Without over using the product and wasting dye (we were careful to not waste and almost didn’t use enough on a few shirts) we did not have enough dye to complete what we planned to dye. The colors were vibrant and wonderful selection of colors. It is very falsely advertised that this will make 36 items. 9 of the items we made were baby onesies that barely needed dye. We could have used bigger bottles and found that 1 of these small bottles covered 1 shirt. We died adult small 9 shirts, 9 baby onesies, 1 small baby blanket. I will order 2 of this kit and one of the XL kits for the future because we did enjoy the color variety that the XL kit doesn’t offer.. great product and best value just don’t be fooled by “36 projects” or the reviews saying 1 bottle makes 3 shirts because it doesn’t........ they’re little small bottles! My son used 1 whole bottle of black and it barely covered 1 shirt with half staying white. To get the best color vibrancy we let the shirts soak in individual zip lock bags for 20 hours in 70°+ outside and 2 hours in the 100°+ sun to seal. Then rinsed in cold, warm then hot water until clear as reviews suggested and then washed in 3 separate small loads with detergent. We’ve used several different Tulip kits and still feel this gave the best color selection, my only wish is the bottles were a little larger.... we planned to dye 23 items and ran out before we could finish. The last item dyed was a random combo dye of whatever was left over in each bottle because I didn’t want to waste it. Make sure you wipe down bottles before touching bare handed because there was a lot of loose dye powder on each bottle. When mixing I wiped down each bottle with a wet rag (don’t skip this step!!)
