TUMI - Voyageur Carson Laptop Backpack - 15 Inch Computer Bag for Women - Black

This bag was my second choice. I liked the look of another Tumi backpack better but found it a little too small for my work laptop, so I got this one instead. So far, so good. Pros: - Mink color with gold hardware is beautiful, less boring than black but a great-looking neutral, very professional. This is a color that can look a little strange online, but in person, its really nice. - Dedicated laptop compartment, my work computer is an HP Elitebook (about 14) and it fits comfortably. - Padded shoulder straps. Some of the professional backpacks only have leather straps, but these are nicely padded. - Lots of cubbies and pockets for different items. Other than a laptop, I carry a tablet, compact umbrella, wallet/purse and lunch, and they all fit in this bag. The side pockets are big enough to hold water bottles without being the mesh material you find on camping backpacks. - For me, not being leather is a plus, the nice nylon is better. I walk to public transportation in hot weather, and this bag is replacing a high-quality leather bag that struggled in the heat with color running and a rubbery sealer on the edges of the leather melting. Not being leather also means it weighs less, and for a bag that has a leather version available too, costs less. Speaking of cost... Cons: - Cost. I say you get $1 of value every time you use/wear something, so if I carry this bag every work day starting Oct 2018, I need to keep using it through March 2020 to be worth the price. I probably will use it that long, so it will probably work out, but its awfully expensive for a backpack. Overall this is a really nice backpack and I highly recommend it.

So far I love the new backpack. Id previously had a nice leather shoulder bag I carried my laptop and various items to work in, or travelled with. This backpack seems to hold everything better, maybe just a better use of space, which includes a nice space for your laptop and tablet. I foresee a lot of use. I love all the side pockets too. Seems like many bags are getting rid of the smaller pockets. I find the smaller pockets useful.

I cant say enough good things about this backpack!! Tumi thought of everything with all of the pockets- you can stay very organized. Worth the price!

Bought is as a gift. Nicely built. Was not sure it was going to be big enough for a laptop when I got it, but the person who received the gift was thrilled. Everything fits perfectly and plenty of pockets to organize all your travel stuff. Nice Looking as well.

I initially saw this at an airport store. I was able to fit two laptops, 1-17” and 1-15”, in the laptop compartment. I love that both fit and I still have the big section to fit all my other things.

I have a version of this backpack from 2002. Its been wonderful and well-traveled. I also used it for work for many years. It has come time to replace it. This $400 item is not worth $40. There are no feet on the bottom, so it will get wet and worn immediately. The straps are thin - making them uncomforable like cheap backpacks. They dont have the small pockets the previous models did, which were so handy. There arent the seamed pen and lip gloss slots in the pockets to keep organized. The shape is boxy, rather than a bit tapered, for just a bit of style and efficiently. I really cant believe all the places they skimped. I would pay this ridiculous amount for a perfect backpack because its something I use near-daily for years. But this brand seems to have sold out. I will search for another maker. What a true bummer. Im crushed to be honest. I would love to breathe life into my old one.

Classy durable

This is a classic Tumi trusted backpack. What I like is the size as it is compact design with many pockets. It does not look like you can fit much but you will be surprised how much you can fit in there. The zipper is amazingly smooth and durable.
