> 24 hourThe range of this AP is very poor compared to the OpenMesh A60 that it is replacing in my home. The A60 could cover all rooms of our 2 story wood frame 2000 sq ft home with no issues. I configured the Ubiquiti the same way and it can’t reach one side of the house. I’ll need to find a better replacement.

> 24 hourGreat speeds, much better than the UAP-AC-PRO. worked right away for unifi software for provisioning and software update.

> 24 hourUbiquiti makes some great products in general. The speed tests are far better than anything Ive purchased to this point. Packaging is primo and delivery is quick. Install is a breeze as long as you are using UniFi consoles. Support is questionable, but the review is of the hardware and not support.

> 24 hourGet this access point, NOT the long range! This AP uses a Qualcomm chip. The LR uses mediatek. Qualcomm is the best chipset for WiFi! I was using 2 high end Asus routers, but my WiFi was still having issues. But ever since I got this unifi AP, my WiFi has been ROCK SOLID!

> 24 hourNo problems took approximately 5 minutes to upgrade and add to system. My speeds are 714mb Wi-Fi. A little bigger and 1lb heavier than Unifi pro (older model).

> 24 hourPros // Cheap, reliable, functional. Its Unfi so basic but best near enterprise as you can get. \ Cons: // Still years later beta features have to be disabled to get a true stable connection. Roaming still weak compared to true controller based ap. 80/160 5g channels still buggy as always. \ Overall. Its a Unfi ap cheap reliable and can be left alone for years. Just dont expect huge performance but it will do small office or house hold jobs perfectly fine. Keep the channel width down and keep power below 80% and it will be rock solid.

> 24 hourThis is an odd review to write -- it should be two - -a 3 and a 5. If this were the *old* Ubiquiti, it would be a 5, but companys approach of late takes it down. The problem: Unifi is great, and for some situations, *the* solution. But, in the old days, it was at prosumer pricing. It was no-brainer. Today, its near enterprise pricing,. and to be honest, there are better enterprise offers from real enterprise players. Dont get me wrong -- the product works as expected and works well, but at the price, you can go to players like Arista and Rukkus. Also, if you know why you need Unifi, say youre building out an office with 30 of these, again, a no-brainer, but at the new price, you have choices, and its no longer home-budget friendly. Add to that the poor software support for the controller and its hard to vote a 5

> 24 hourThis access point works very well in both the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz spectrum. Installed, it has great signal... much better than the comparable product (Unifi UAP-AC-Pro).

> 24 hourThis access point works great and is a major upgrade from the previous model providing longer distance and more stable connections.
