> 24 hourI bought this for use with a new HP laptop for better speed when I have weak WiFi. The computer has USB 3.0 and is capable of 1Gb transfer. With this device I get a max download speed of 90Mbs on ethernet! If I put the same machine back on WiFi I get in excess of 490 Mbs. REVISED REVIEW: I am revising my review with favorable remarks. I have left the review above in case people notice the same issue. After testing, it appears that the speed issue is the CABLE I was using to test the device. If you have speed issues with this device. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE CABLE as this is a common problem with cheap cables.
