> 3 dayThis was a birthday gift for a 17 year old. He has so many magic cards I thought he could use a nice place to put a his favorite frequently used decks. He LOVED it! He even said the dice tray was big enough for his dice and his tokens. Delivery was fast and it arrived looking nice. The magnets seem pretty strong, too.

Greater than one weekI just got it out of the box yesterday and immediately was disappointed with the quality. I have two other Ultimate Guard deck boxes, a Flip n Tray 80+ and a Duel Flip n Tray 200+. Just comparing the 100+ to the 80+ I was understandably disappointed, and a bit angry, when I saw not only glue marks from where the glue overflowed on certain edges, but the dice and card trays felt flimsy like if I put any real force into them I would break them, add on to that fact with the dice tray is a pain to take in and out, with the micro fiber was basically ripped at the corner of the trays, and I flipped it upside down where I noticed the microfiber had been ripped revealing the cardboard like material underneath. The Xenoskin exterior was more soft than my other deck boxes, I really cant describe it any other way. Finally the seams are bad too, the flap over the dice is unevenly cut making it not really line up right. I think I was given a used version, and considering I thought it was going to be new from how the seller is advertising it, this does not make me pleased. It was $20 buck with tax, and I got a disappointing box that may not survive my up coming trip with how cheap it feels. I also dont have time to send it back for a new one either. So all and all I dont expect the great things I wanted it to do for me, after my trip I may update to say whether the box survived or not and how it died. But if it does survive I would never use it again, and will most likely return it. As a reminder, all my complaints here are not after years of use, or even a day of use, I had pulled it out of the box yesterday and these are the problems that I found with a light inspection.

> 3 dayIts really nice, but the storage was an issue for me. I had to take the tray out in order to fit my commander deck and the cards are standard size, and not even double sleeved. Not having the tray in helps to fit my deck, but its frustrating to remove all my cards. They dont fit my 100 card commander deck in that tray.

> 3 dayI have a slight positive bias towards Ultimate Guard products since I own an Arkhive and Boulder cases for my Legacy decks. I use their regular deck boxes for my Pauper decks. I’m happy with their products. I started getting tired of carrying two separate deck boxes for my main decks. I had two Ultra Pro Satin Tower deck boxes that carried best competitive decks. After seeing this product, it seemed to make sense to me since I usually play with my 2 best decks every time. I got my one decks double sleeved and they fit tightly Into the container. There’s no room for tokens or anything, just the deck. Luckily, that deck doesn’t use tokens. My other deck is not double sleeved and it fits very nicely and a bit loose, with enough room for many tokens and a sideboard. The dice tray fits my D6 and D20 nicely. It does it’s job. This product fits my needs. Though you might be disappointed if you have a double sleeved deck and use tokens.

> 3 dayWithin minutes of opening this I was a bit disappointed. The quality of the box and everything is amazing but the description is a but misleading. The discription states that it can hold up to 200 double sleeved cards which for the most part it can. The problem is that with the trays, it can only hold about 90 double sleeved cards on each side, but without the tray I am able to fit all 101 cards in it. Without double sleeved cards the tray can hold 100 single sleeved cards. On the left is a commander MTG deck, 100 cards single sleeved and in the tray. On the right is a double sleeved commander deck (100 cards) + 1 single sleeved token. The double sleeved deck has little room at all to spare, so does the single sleeved side. Overall I am sure I am going to love this product. I shook the devil out of it with both commander decks inside and the magnets held up wonderfully. For reference: The left deck is using Dragon Shield Orange non-matte sleeves. The right deck is using Dragon Shield Red Matte sleeves with KMC perfect fit sleeves inside.

12-06-2025So, let me start by saying that I generally love Ultimate Guard products. I use the various size Flip n Tray products, the Arkhive 800+, the Superhive 550+, various size Boulders and Katana Sleeves. They are all great, and have held up well....except for this one. For whatever reason, the orange Flip n Tray 80+ began falling apart almost immediately, with just normal use. Open the compartments, and the outer skin just starts flaking off and getting everywhere, as you can see in the photos. Furthermore, the damage left behind on the outside is quite visible and unsightly. I also want to add that I do not recommend trying to work with Ultimate Guard customer service if you have any issues. Just return it to Amazon and be done with it! I made the mistake of going through Ultimate Guard, as that was the recommendation on here when I went to my order and requested product support. Well, it has been 4 months now of getting the runaround and no resolution in sight. They havent sent me a replacement product, nor have they refunded me. So I guess Im just eating this loss unfortunately.

> 3 dayI got a couple deck box for my MTG cards. A Satin Tower was my first and its also one of the best, and a Vault X Large Deck Box thats soft plastic but I got it because of the sleeves that came with it. This one blows both of my previous away! I got it because it could hold two decks. Something I would like when I take my decks to play with friends instead of having multiple seperated deck box items. Ill bring my other still but if Im in a hurry or only plan to use a couple of my decks, Ill just take this deck box. Everything about it just feels great. The magnet that holds the box together is quite strong. Did a shake test and nothing came out. I dont want to drop it as I dont wanna damage the box or my cards, but if it did fall, Im positive most of the time my cards will stay in. I have not own it long enough to test its durability but time will tell. Its very minor but I do get annoyed of having to flip and stand the box upwards to safely pull out the mid storage compartment that is used to stored your dice and such items. Otherwise this is a great buy for the price. Id buy more.

> 3 dayThis deck box has exceeded my expectations. The price itself does sting, but Im completely enjoying it the week or so Ive spent with it so far. It feels very high quality, and durable, I feel like I can drop this without a worry of my cards getting damaged. The interior is a nice soft micro fiber as they state, and it does come with a tray for both your cards and tokens/dice. I was surprised at how big the deck box was, I honestly expected it to be smaller, even though it turned out bigger than I expected, I still love the thing. It appears I received a newer version though, Ill include some pictures as Im not sure its what anyone who orders now will get, the new one has much less Ultimate Guard branding, the man with the arms is only branded on the inside and underneath the deck box, the Ultimate Guard name alone on the front flap, and it does keep the FlipnTray branding on top, overall for the better in my opinion, oh right, also the trays are branded, the smaller tray has Ultimate Guard on one end, and the bigger tray has the man and two arms on its end (opposite side of where you grab the trays from), the trays also look more ergonomic for pulling them out with rounded bell shaped cutouts, instead of the more blocky style pictured on Amazon. Id recommend this case as it really feels worth the money, Im not entirely sure how durable it is, but if it breaks down within the next month Ill go ahead and update my review, but so far it feels tough, high quality, and a joy to use.

> 3 dayI recently got involved in the Pokemon trading card game and I was in need of a deck box to hold my competitive cards. I tried the Ultra Pro Deck Box and the Ultimate Guard Monolith 100+. I have problems with both. For the Ultra Pro, the lid never stayed open and it was difficult to put my cards in there, especially with a disabled hand. For the Ultimate Guard Monolith, it is of great quality, but it too is difficult to open to consistently add and remove cards and access the dice and token. Plus, the interior is plastic and I always feel that I am going to damage my cards, even when theyre sleeved. Enter the Flip N Tray. BUILD AND MATERIAL: WOW. Thats a tl;dr summary of the material. It feels sturdy on the exterior and the interior is high-quality microfiber. After adding cards and dice and tokens, I was rough with the deck box. I tossed it up in the air and threw it across the room to a friend. The cards, dice, and tokens were undamaged. I feel confident that I can use this for extended travel without fear of damage. Shaking the deck box when there are dice in the top emits a very satisfying sound. ACCESS: Ease of access to the cards, dice, and tokens is everything you can ask for. The flap wraps around most of the deck box and is secured by strong magnets. Opening the deck box is easy as it gives once the magnets are separated. Once opened, you can pull out the dice and card trays. You also have the choice to rotate the trays to your liking: one side has a small cut out to pull the trays out; the other lacks the cut out and has the Ultimate Guard logo. The side with the cut out is the most efficient way of accessing your items. The other way requires you to shake the deck box to loosen the trays. CARD FIT: My Pokemon cards are single-sleeved. I am able to fit an entire deck (60 cards), a divider, and 20 more cards without it them being too cramped. The top tray holds my GX marker, two condition markers, and 15+ damage counter dice. There is still room to spare! THE BAD: My only complaint would have to be the fact that you have to put your cards in sideways so the fronts are not facing you when you open it. Perhaps its done to prevent them from falling out in an unlikely scenario where the flap comes undone? I am unsure. Its just a pain to have to pull the card tray out, rotate it, and then pull the cards out. But thats a minor complaint! THE BOTTOM LINE: This is a MUST-BUY for players. In fact, I suspect the larger, twin version would be just as high quality as this. Buy it. You wont regret it.

> 3 dayWhen I first saw images of this product, I was highly impressed by its design. It appeared to have sturdy construction and pleasant aesthetics, as well as enough space to handle a few of my decks. The reviews of this product were immensely positive and that convinced me to purchase it. Upon arrival and having had some time with it, Ive concluded that this product is quite the opposite of my expectations and not at all what the reviewers have stated in the positive reviews. This product is a 2 star product for a few reasons. First and foremost, are the magnets. They are definitely strong and will hold the flaps in place... However, they cant seem to stay in place within their actual spots in the flaps. Three of the magnets (the top most flap and the center flap) have already loosened and I have had to push them back into place. Whether or not this is a production issue with the adhesive is also a moot point; over time, the magnets will eventually loosen from their spots and fall out of place. Due to their strength, they cause the inner microfiber material to loosen more and more with each opening. If these magnets were securely in place, like in the bottom flap, they wouldnt cause this issue. Second are the flaps themselves. While it was a pretty cool idea to have 3 separate flaps, it actually doesnt have much of a benefit to the deck box. These flaps were not designed to close quickly and perfectly, and you have to adjust them so they just fit right. Obviously, the folks that designed this deck box didnt think much from the engineering aspect of it. Having 3 separate flaps introduces a general weakness in the enclosure of the box. One or more of them will slowly loosen from place due to the inefficient way in which they close, and will eventually become damaged. A single flap design would make a sturdier enclosure and cut costs; you will use less magnets to close the flap and use less overall material to make the flaps. While my review is mostly oriented toward the negative aspects of this deck box, there are some positives. The material used is definitely excellent in quality and there is more than enough space to store 2 of my decks. The dice container is perfect and comes in and out easily, as do the deck slots. However, due to the aforementioned weakness, I am returning this product and cannot recommend it. Even in the little time I had with it, the flaws stood out like a stick in the mud and I am unsure how so many people reviewed this product so positively. Buyer beware.
