Durable, sturdy, convenient, perfect for valuable or unique decks. I purchased a second box in black.

Bought this deck box to store a commander deck with a bunch of tokens, counters, dice, and some other cards to mix in. It’s well constructed and serves its purpose perfectly. You could fit two 100 card decks but that brings me to my only gripe. My only knock on the deck box is that fitting a double-sleeved commander (dragon shield inner and art sleeves) is a very snug fit - to the point where I have to be very careful not to bend cards when putting the deck away. So I put my commander on one side with tokens and sideboard and the remaining 99 cards on the other side. Works great but as I said, 99 cards is reeeeeal snug. Outside of that one complaint, great deck box for a reasonable price. Makes me look at Ultimate Guard first for any future deck box purchases.

Overall this is a great product, but I have the same complaint as everyone else... now. I bought my first one, the exact same product minus it being black, and I could face the cards in whatever direction I liked. At the time I didnt read reviews so I didnt know this was a common complaint. I just ordered my 2nd one for more of my decks and I cant fit it in to the deck trays like I could my other set. I thought it was my card sleeves at first, but upon making sure I bought the same brand (dragon shield matte) and testing the size against each other, it couldnt be that. I measured the dice trays next, and low and behold, they were different sizes. So this proves that the manufacturers box can fit bigger dice trays for your preferable orientation, they just dont... for some reason. I just wish I got lucky with my second purchase enough to get a size thatd let me fit the cards how Id like to in there again.

It’s a really nice box! Not that elegant to open though and I was bummed that it could only fit 20 d6 dice in the dice compartment (my dice set is 24 d6) but it’s not a bid deal since I don’t need all 24. This box only fits standard sized cards, so no 3x4” Top-loaders.

The reviews on this product is misleading since this case holds 2 each 100 double sleeve cards. The cards have to be loaded with the cards facing to the front similar to showing your commander in the front. The material is great and very durable. I have been using the flip and tray along with ultimate boulders for all my edh decks.

August 4, 2017 By further inspection, I realize this product is a maybe a counterfeit. Its made more apparent with a sliver Ultimate Guard logo in the deck cases interior: where its flaps leads to the deck storage. And that one of the magnets is slipping or not directly aligned with the others. I am not aware whether this is a different model, new or old, or that this truly a counterfeit. So far, its material doesnt seem to fall apart and its function are seemingly fair. If more problems occur I will update my findings and may request a return. August 7, 2017 Upon checking the official website for Ultimate Guard, the sliver logo in the deck cases interior is part of its current or new design. But my purchase is still maybe a counterfeit because the Ultimate Guard logo that is depicted on the front from the current design. Is on the bottom-right corner and it does not have the man on it, just the words Ultimate Guard. Also from this point, another magnet is slipping or the material is deforming (I cannot tell). August 10, 2017 So after contemplating, I emailed my concern with a representative of the company, Ultimate Guard, and informed me that the deck case I purchased from Amazon.com, no secondary seller or such, is a newer model. The deck cases design display currently from the Ultimate Guards website is a older model. So in the end, I am satisfied of my purchased product. I am still iffy about the magnets , but I can look past it.

I have a slight positive bias towards Ultimate Guard products since I own an Arkhive and Boulder cases for my Legacy decks. I use their regular deck boxes for my Pauper decks. I’m happy with their products. I started getting tired of carrying two separate deck boxes for my main decks. I had two Ultra Pro Satin Tower deck boxes that carried best competitive decks. After seeing this product, it seemed to make sense to me since I usually play with my 2 best decks every time. I got my one decks double sleeved and they fit tightly Into the container. There’s no room for tokens or anything, just the deck. Luckily, that deck doesn’t use tokens. My other deck is not double sleeved and it fits very nicely and a bit loose, with enough room for many tokens and a sideboard. The dice tray fits my D6 and D20 nicely. It does it’s job. This product fits my needs. Though you might be disappointed if you have a double sleeved deck and use tokens.

This is a fantastic deck box and I havent found anything that even comes close. Its even better than the Ultra Pro Satin Tower because it is easier to open/close (which is the main con for the Ultra Pro). Pros: -Looks and feels great; I love this color too -Sturdy exterior -Very strong magnets wont fall open -Easy to open/close -Two insertable pieces each capable of being opened separately - one for dice/coins/counters, one for the deck; and both can come out of the box and be placed in the play area -Not too wide. In other deck boxes, the cards shuffle left and right quite a bit, but sleeved cards are quite snug in this box! It keeps them from being knocked back and forth Cons: -The main negative is that these run pretty large. This is the about the same size overall as the Ultra Pro Satin Tower, but it doesnt hold as much. -Building on my last point, this doesnt hold a whole lot. Double sleeved KMC cards, it comfortably holds a 60-card deck, plus about 20 side board (give or take some). Youd have a hard time fitting 100 double sleeved in here, Id say around 80-85 is good without forcing them in. I could imagine the 2-deck version of this is quite massive, so Im sticking to this 100-card version, which is perfect if you just have a single deck. I would actually probably recommend 2 of these for 2-decks instead of the large double-box for 2 decks. Its the perfect mix between the typical magnet-leather boxes (which usually have weak magnets that fall open, but not this one) and the Ultra Pro Satin Tower.

The Ultimate Guard twin flip n tray is a great design having 2 compartments for your cards and 1 mid compartment for your accessories as I use mine carrying Dice; not sure up to what card capacity as I use the case with my Yu‑Gi‑Oh cards but feels very rigid to protect as I was able to shake the case intensely and the magnet closure never opened up. The Petrol color is my favorite and was a great choice picking out as it is pleasing to the eye. All in all this deck case feels very premium for your cards which does come out a bit pricy but it is what separates Ultimate Guard from the rest as you are buying one of the best Deck Cases you can get your hands on.

The quintessential Ultimate Guard deck box: a timeless design with strong magnetic closure, card and dice trays for safe storage of your deck, and a resistant but smooth Xenoskin surface.
