Ultrasac Heavy Duty Contractor Bags (Value 50 Pack/w Ties), 42 Gallon, 32.75 X 47 - 3 MIL Thick Large Black Industrial Garbage Trashbags for Construction and Commercial use

I spent a lot of time comparing price/MIL/gallon size. The price was right for 50, so I bought these. Assumed they were what the photo showed -- self-tying. They just arrived and seem as heavy-weight as the ones Id just used up. But very disappointed they are not self-tying, as the photo implies. Had to scroll waaay down on the page just now to see they have twist-ties. And they are just cheap white standard ties in a strip -- longer than bread ties, but no stronger/wider. Cant imagine they would keep a heavy bag closed well. They need to fix the photo and put this info up front. Will take years to use up, but prefer Id have 50 self-tying ones! I might try cutting some of them to create the self-ties. Wish I still had one of my old ones, for a pattern. UPDATE- OK -- I see in the top description they say with ties but I didnt pay attention to that because I saw the picture - and assumed it was built-in ties. My bad. But be warned if you wanted that kind!

Great bag, bu t comes with small twist ties.

Ordered 2 boxes, 1 was fine, the other had been ripped open on both ends and an effort was made to tape it shut. That was not successful.

Uses ties and not a draw tables

I got tired of 40 gal bags that are too small to wrap around the outside of a standard metal garbage can so that bag doesnt slip down. These will fold over for several inches. My only complaint is that the advertised twist ties have been missing from my last two orders. These bags require an extra long twist tie over 6 inches at least which arent available separately anywhere that I can find so Im using twine for now.

The bags themselves are mid. They mostly do the job, but as others have said, they do tear a lot. I have ordered several times and this last order they came without a box. It was an amazon bag full of unsecured trash bags. This is strange and difficult to manage. The listing even specifies that they conveniently dispense one at a time form the box. I dont plan to buy these again.

Thought the price is high, I was able to get them quick. Well I’m impressed I just been shoving blackberry vines in them and they are holding up, minimum snagging, one bag I shoved a blackberry branch in just a little 3” tear I’ll still be able to load them up in my truck. Great size not a problem with the seam, which is only on the bottom. Come with twist but kind of chintzy with the thickness/ heaviness of these bags.

Tried other bags but none hold up like these.

If you are looking for a heavy duty bag this is the one.

The bags are OK. However I prefer the bags with ears for ease of knot tying when closing. Didnt realize these are straight cut thereby making it a bit more difficult to knot the closure.
