> 3 dayDelivered today on time and operational within 30 minutes. No frills or add on to this unit like a extended antenna or power source. Open box, read instructions and you are listening ! I have 50+ frequency running after I entered my wanted ones from my list...If you follow instructions every time you cant go wrong. As a firefighter I like to know whats going on in my region... the clear speaker is good, a bit tinny not deep based but is clear to understand. You can enter frequencys to listen to tac units, police, fire. The supplied antenna is good for ranges < 15 miles...otherwise need outside one. The weather/FM radio features are great, have them logged in sec. BUY this scanner I recommend it.

Greater than one weekIf your area is analog, this scanner is great. User friendly and high quality. Easy to program and is really loud. The only thing I wish it had was Close Call. Its a clock radio with an FM tuner also. You can set it to turn off.

> 3 dayReceived the unit quickly from seller. Unit was as advertised. This unit is easy to set up and use. I live in a small rural town (under 10,000) and this unit picks up all activity in my area. If you need your area frequency numbers go to radiofrequency.com and find your state, county and city. There is a list of frequencies there. If you need help setting up your unit there are some short videos by Uniden demonstrating a typical setup which is very easy.

> 3 dayOrdered the BC365CRS on May 31st. Very fast service from Amazon, even with standard shipping. Unit arrived OK and all parts were in the pkg as advertised. This scanner is very easy to set up & program; took me just a few minutes to program the ANALOG (only) frequencies in. If you dont live in an urban setting, I recommend connecting an external antenna, as this will provide much better reception than the plug-in antenna included with the scanner. I also recommend hooking up an external speaker for best audio quality. This scanner has lots of great features such as a priority channel, FM radio, clock/alarm clock functions, lighted display, and battery back-up for programmed frequencies/clock in case of power failure. All in all, a great scanner for the money.

Greater than one weekDirect tuning should be more obvious and intuitive. Punching the numbers for a frequency does not tune to that one. Perhaps I am missing something.

> 3 dayI bought this hoping it would have a better audio quality than the small handheld baefeng that I also have. I was not dissapointed. It comes in nice and clear and it also stays on the channel longer so you can hear the whole conversation whereas the baofeng would skip to next channel the split second they paused in conversation. It has a blacklight display which you can toggle on or off and a telescoping antenna. I live in populated small town on the east coast and I get crystal clear reception from the police and fire without having to even put the antenna up. For the people that say this doesnt work for them I dont think they understand how these work. First go to google and find out what channels exactly your police and fire etc broadcast on. Once you know which channels they use you can program them into the unit and then it will scan between those channels nonstop. You cannot just press scan without entering the channels you want to monitor and expect to get anything. Its not like your car radio. It als has a battery backup and a clock and FM radio which also sounds nice.

> 3 dayIt is easy enough to locate the local frequencies which you may want to cover. I do not usually read user guides, but I followed this one closely. I consider myself tech savvy, but this was difficult to set up and is still not fully set up. We want this functionality but are not getting good use of the device because the setup information is so poorly informative. It stays off all the time. Setup is on my to-do list, but its been several weeks.
