I bought this as a birthday present for my mom since she needed a new hobby. She has since been sketching up a storm on the first pad. She loves that the tablets are big enough to sketch larger pictures.

When you erase a spot several times, the paper starts to rip. Or when you focas on a single spot.

I sketch a lot as well as make art journals and so I prefer to have a variety of sizes of books. This particular one is the perfect size for me to turn into an alphabet, shape, and color book for my son. My plan was to sketch out different things on each page for him to color each day for our toddler school time. The paper is nice and smooth and is an off white color (not bright white). So a white crayon or colored pencil will show up rather well on this paper. This is a great shade if you are drawing things that you are adding highlights to. The highlights will really pop on this shade of paper. Its also a great size if you travel. It fits in a small to medium sized bag really well and is very well made so no worries about it falling apart from constantly being in your bag. thought these were going to be bigger, picture makes them look bigger, but they are small. ok i guess
