I like how thick the pages are and that markers can’t bleed through them.

I should have listened to other reviewers. I ordered ten 9x12 sketch pads and received six that were 9x12 and two that were 5.5x8.5. Whaaaat? And the smaller ones, as shown in the photo, are invoiced as 9x12.

Originally there was a shipping error to this order and the item arrived damaged. I got in touch with the company and was thrilled at the customer service that I received. This is a great, large size pad perfect for sketching, doodling or planning for future projects. I really like the natural white color instead of the bright white of other products and the 9x12 gives me plenty of room for my art work. The paper is heavy enough to hold up to using both sides of the pages in most cases unless I go too heavy with the ink. And I didnt have trouble with leftover eraser marks that I could tell. The spiral binding being on the top is nice so it doesnt interfere with my hand as Im working. The pages dont tear out cleanly since they arent perforated, but a quick cut with scissors takes care of the little ruffled edge. I can easily toss this in my bag when I head out; even though its a larger paper size, its 30 sheets so it doesnt take up any more room than a typical notebook in my case. Id definitely consider this a good value purchase, especially when you compare it to in store prices for the same type of product. I hope you enjoyed this review. This paper has a bluish tint; it is not white.

service was great; arrived quickly, well packaged, in good shape. The product is Chinese, and it shows. The stock is heavy, but the fibers are coarse and obvious. I use paper for pen and ink mostly, and this is not an enjoyable pad to use. The nib chatters and the line bleeds. It might be good for charcoal or pastels, but I would strongly recommend moving to a better grade paper. This would be fine for kids.
