Got the wrong size. It says 9×12 but actually recieved 5.5×8.5.

when I first received the sketch book I thought that the paper was really weird until I decided to give it a try and it is really good, especially since when I am on the bus I can pull it out and start drawing things instead of carrying a 9in x 12in sketch book.

Great gift for the artist in your family.

Great size for drawing and decent weight paper to paint with watercolors. I wouldnt purchase as a watercolor sketch pad but if you want to use it for that it works okay. Probably half the weight of regular watercolor paper weight. Better suited for pencil and markers. Using light amount of water for painting works for watercolors but the paper will start to buckle. All in all theyre great little sketch pads for the price.

Stocking stuffer for my daughter the budding artist. She started filling it up right away.
