Read and write speeds are pretty much on the dot and the biggest plus is the built in M.2 drive at the bottom of the drive (one of the very few ways to expand memory for IMacs. Highly recommend this purchase as se by any means!

Greater than one weekThese hubs make the perfect accompaniment to the new iMacs. I think they should all come with one of these from the factory. The base of the iMac fits perfectly in the top of the enclosure. It adds 3 usb a ports, allows you to keep the usb c port it uses and adds a sdxc and micro sdxc reader. The built in controller for an Nvme & SATA ssd drive means you dont need to use 1 of the ports for an external hard drive for back up purposes.
