This expands the number of usb outlets. It looks like it is part of the 24” iMac base.

I bought the Hub for my iMac and it looks great. However, my Apple CD Drive (USB) is not recognized by any of the USB ports on the Hub. The CD works fine with my MacBook Pro - can you help me with this problem?

for the new IMac this is perfect. The ports on the back of an IMac are very limited but this product solves that wonderfully.

Since I got my M1 24 in iMac, I have been looking for a hub that would work with the M1 iMac. This is the first one I have tried out of many that works as it should. It is well engineered and rests under the base of the iMac. It is very sturdy and I dont worry about it tipping over. It just plugs into the back of the iMac and you are up and running! No additional setup needed. It has enough extra connections that this will be all that I will ever need. Highly recommend-- dont even try anything else. This is all you need.

Nice quality addition to a 24, fits like a glove, exact metal finish to the silver Mac. Ports could marked better, but a real necessity for optional connections.

Hello there, Spoiler alert, I love how this HUB looks and the additional storage and connectivity options. I know this lovely HUB is advertised as an M1 iMac accessory, but it looks soo cool and convenient; I had to try it on a MiniPC. I only tested this HUB M.2 slot with a 2242 NVME module, as you can see in the photos Im sharing, and it works flawlessly under Windows 11, which is the OS that came on that lovely NUC-like MiniPC. Now I have a good-looking aluminum base that brings me an additional M.2 NVME storage, SD and MicroSD slots, two USB 2.0, and two 3.1. I highly recommend it if you have a NUC-Like MiniPC with a USB-C located on the backside. For an M1, iMac is a no-brainer, and I tested it on my iMac Pro, but it was not designed for a regular iMac foot, in case you wonder. I hope you like the idea and that you find this review helpful in any way. =D

This product is fantastic. For me, not having an SD slot on the computer was a bummer. This solution is perfect to add that, among other useful ports. Really think Apple should have instituted this design from factory! Finish matches the silver really well, looks seamless.
