Everyone with an M1 iMac should get one of these USB hub adapter, put an M.2 NVMe SSD in it, and have have a Time Machine backup drive and more connectivity. Well worth the money! My iMac had a 1 TB drive internally, and now has a 2 TB drive in its base. Now Ive got backwards compatibility with USB 2.0 and more. Thank you, Minisopuru! Thank you. A traditional Japanese honor bow from me to you.

Solid and overall great product. The main idea was to add a new SSD to my iMac. Absolutely no difficulties with installing. They even put a screwdriver in a box. Highly recommended.

Apple keeps removing more and more features from the iMac to either increase their profits or to reduce the price as maybe not everyone needs all the extra ports. Just wish this nifty base add-on was offered in the Apple store, instead of me having to spend several hours discovering it on the internet. Was able to find one that matched the orange color.

I bought the Hub for my iMac and it looks great. However, my Apple CD Drive (USB) is not recognized by any of the USB ports on the Hub. The CD works fine with my MacBook Pro - can you help me with this problem?

for the new IMac this is perfect. The ports on the back of an IMac are very limited but this product solves that wonderfully.
