Very convenient pedestal matching color of iMac. Only connection lacking is ethernet so a dongle is required.

I got this for my M1 imac. Everything works. The only thing missing is a hdmi port but I bought a hdmi dongle and it works. I love that this this has built a in memory slot. I got a 1TB card for a good value.

I dont know why our new iMAC only has USB-C ports but this is perfect for adding the USB-A port that I needed. It would look like a factory part of the iMAC if I had ordered the correct color. The fit is great and the finish matches the computers satin look. The computer doesnt feel any less stable than when it was on the desk directly. I havent added an addtional hard drive to the hub but good to know that I can now if I need to.

I had this from October 2022, always worked well with a 2tb ssd installed. Didn’t push it much, only backed up small files randomly and had no issues. Recently I had my big ipad backed to my imac, and I was copying the back up file to my SSD and the dock made a funny noice and ejected the drive (and the USB thumbdrive) mid file transfer. Initially after unplugging and re-plugging the dock it showed the SSD and I could transfer files. But now this has become more frequent. And the SSD is not even showing up when I plug it in. Bit frustrating when you have 2TB of storage which you can’t use safely.

This hub is just what I was looking for! I was using a dongle to plug all legacy peripherals, and it did not look good in the new iMac 24. This hub looks great along with the iMac and the color is a nice match. So far, everything I have plugged into it has worked. Excellent quality and not the cheap plastic-type. I am very satisfied with this product.

Edit 2022 06 29 I installed a Samsung 2 TB NVMe in this hub with a USB 3.2 connection to my computer which has an SSD. I copied a 12.7 GB file from the computer SSD to this NVMe in 10 seconds. Thats fast enough for me. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RK2SR23?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 --- Original Review --- The USB C Hub for iMac 24 inch 2021, Minisopuru USB Hub Adapter Support M.2 NVMe SSD appears well made from aluminum and matches the iMac and Mac Studio. It has a few ports on the side and a short cord to plug into the Mac. It seems like a lot of hubs have the SD and Micro SD card slots and this one does too. I waited to receive the hub before I purchased a SSD to ensure there were no limits so I have not tried that out yet, but should have the SSD in a few days. The hub connects with USB 3.2. The usb 3.2 hub can easily access your basic devices smoothly. I would have preferred Thunderbolt 4 as that is the standard on current Macs, but it is a compromise between features and price. The kit included a screw driver, silicone pad to protect the electronics of the SSD, and 2 screws and standoffs. Be careful when opening the box. The bag containing the screws was not closed.
