> 3 day...a Netgear USB network adapter that I compared and took back to the store, and cost twice as much. I also liked that I didnt even need to download a driver because it came with a little usb of its own with the drivers and utility. Imagine you cant connect until you get an adapter going, thus cannot connect to download--dont have to do that and in the past most adapters might have come with a disc, but you need no disc drive this way. You absolutely have a usb port. It does work, and runs with the same network driver that may be on a Realtek chipset. It can be less able using 5g but that can be your router or ISP.

> 3 dayAll of my sons schoolwork is on the computer. Of course his Wifi adapter went out right before a huge assignment was due. I found this on Amazon and received it i less than two days. My son had it plugged up and was back online within seconds of getting it out of the box! Fantastic!

> 3 dayI needed this for an older desktop I use in the shop. The adapter gives me great performance and double the passthrough as my previous. I never have drops and always connect at top speed, even though this is almost 100 ft from the router.

> 3 dayI bought a Techkey USB Wireless-N card many years ago and its still being used on my wifes PC. I bought this USB Wireless-AC for my daughters PC and she has used it for almost 3 months without any problem. No internet drops or slows down. Its plug-n-play on Windows 10. It came with a driver and I tried it but I didnt see any advantage. If you use the provided driver, itll install a small app to control your wireless card. It provides some advanced options but I only care about speed so I uninstalled it. My home internet is 400 Mbs and I got above 350 Mbs consistently from this adapter regardless of using Windows driver or its own driver. I put it on my labtop and walk around my house to test the wifi speed away from my wireless router. I could tell its signal reception is better than my old Wireless-N card but its the same as my built-in laptop wireless card. Since it has a long antenna, you can use this adapter on a desktop. At that price, I dont see the reason why we have to buy from a brand name. Its cheap. It works and its reliable.

Greater than one weekI was looking for an inexpensive USB wifi adapter that I could add a larger external antenna to, and this one does the trick. I was able to get this adapter working in Windows, Linux, and on a Raspberry PI. One nice thing is they included a small CD and a USB drive with the driver included (this was a big help having the USB when I was working on the PI). They also threw in some stickers! All in all a good experience.
