> 3 dayI really like all the packaging. It has 2 cases, a sleeve for the umbrella and then another zipped light weight thicker case for it. Makes it easier to carry around and slim enough to store in the car or handbag or briefcase without a mess. Its compact and convenient. Im from the Seattle area, so its quite rainy and windy. This comes in handy for a business professional like me with its sleek compact design.

> 3 dayI love the hard case in which the umbrella is stored. It keeps it protected from everything that is thrown in my backpack. It is very sturdy when opened. While the wind was inverting others umbrellas, mine stayed where it belonged. It also dried out very quickly. I am thinking of buying another just to keep in the car.

> 3 dayI was really impressed with the neoprene case the umbrella came in. A great way to store it until needed, but would be a hassle if caught in a sudden rainstorm. I did try it out indoors and it worked well except that when you push the button on the handle; it worked sporadically. The first time I tried it, it worked fine but had to struggle with it a couple of times the next few times. Unfortunately, the rain wed been having lately stopped by the time I got the umbrella, and none is forecast for a week or so, but I feel confident it can and will do a great job in protection form the rains in Chicago.

> 3 dayMy VAN BEEKEN Umbrella arrived in a sleek, stylish carrying case, with yet another covering on the umbrella. I immediately tried it out by pressing the button to open it, which it did with ease. The canopy itself is lightweight, yet it feels tough and is well built with more than one type of material making up the ribs: springs, the metal, and etc. The retraction was employed with ease. I have a little difficulty pushing the umbrella down, but I suspect thats because it is new. I tried the umbrella out during my walk and I was amazed at the covering it provided from the sun. The next night in my city we had a storm wherein I could use my umbrella. It kept me dry while walking in the rain and held up against the winds. I also tried entering my vehicle with the umbrella, which did not go well for me (I got wet); but like most umbrellas there is just no easy way to maneuver getting in the car and closing the umbrella. Getting out of the car and opening the umbrella went very smoothly.

> 3 dayMy first impression was WOW, what a nice zippered case this umbrella has. When I pushed the button to open the umbrella it worked flawlessly. Even better, I could push the button again to close it up. Today was a wet and rainy day and my grandson and I put it to the test. The umbrella is strong and durable. Easy to open, easy to close, without getting drenched. The handle is nice and easy to grip. Great product.

> 3 dayUmbrella came in a really nice case. It is super easy to open, just a push if a button and it opens up and push the button again to close. It seems pretty sturdy and seems like it will stand up pretty well to strong winds (havent had a chance to test that portion out yet)

> 3 dayGREAT UNBRELLAS BUT ARE HEAVY. MY ADVICE IS TO TAKE THEIR COVERS OFF. PUT TWO LIGHT WEIGHT GROCERY STORE PLASTIC BAGS IN PURSE. IF IT DOES RAIN, AND YOU DO USE THE UMBRELLAS, PUT THEM IN THE BAGS, WHICH ARE IN YOUR PURSE. THIS WAY YOUR PURSE WILL STAY DRY IINSIDE.

> 3 dayI bought this about a year ago and have used the umbrella 4 times in that year. It has broken because it cannot withstand any type of wind. Also, the silver part just above the wooden handle started coming off and leaves these silvery flakes all over your hands. Anyways, its trash now, so do yourself a favor stay away from this umbrella and get one that is more durable it wont last. Poorly made.

Greater than one weekPleasantly surprised by the case to keep the umbrella when not in use. A waterproof hard case and a zipper pouch for easy storage. I loved that this was easy to open. No fumbling in the rain. This umbrella is made sturdy because it has more aluminum ribs than normal for this size product. The Teflon coating is great for repelling water and for fast drying. I will keep this in my car for those surprise showers. Love this product and would highly recommend.
