> 3 dayI havent used the umbrella in very high winds yet, but the build quality is definitely sturdy, and the whole thing looks sleek! The carrying case in addition to the umbrella sleeve is a great bonus! Handle is a little small, but this isnt really an issue for me.

> 3 dayThis umbrella came just at the right time, as we have been experiencing stormy weather here in North Carolina for the past week. Since I live by the coast, our area is really windy most of the time, which is why I needed a wind-proof umbrella. I cant count the number of regular umbrellas Ive been through because the wind has bent and broken them. But this umbrella really stands up to the wind and heavy rains! Its also Teflon coated, which helps repel the rain and dries super fast. You would think that it would be heavy, but its not. Its actually very lightweight, and it opens and closes easily. I was also impressed because it came not only in the typical umbrella sleeve, but also in a semi-hard case, which I intend to keep it in. Id never before seen an umbrella with a case like this. All in all, this umbrella is windproof, quality-made, and has become my favorite. Its definitely worth trying. I love it!

> 3 dayreceived my VanBeeken umbrella and was so surprised in the excellent construction and design that went into making it. Ive never paid that much for a umbrella but, Im glad I did. The ease of opening and.closing it was worth it. I barely had to touch a button to open and close. I am older and have lost my hand strength but, with this the operation was a breeze. The fact that it has a Teflon coating means it will never stain and water just rolls off. And lastly I really liked the hard shell, zip up case that comes with it. It slips easily into your purse or backpack. Someone put a lot of thought into making this. The tips over the arms are attached in a way that they will never come apart like other umbrellas I have owned. I had to give it 5 stars because I couldnt find anything wrong with it. So order it, you cant find abetter one.

> 3 dayI really like the design, the handle is pretty but not girly so it can be unisec. The button that opens it is tight. Especially that it closes it without having to reset it or the weird metal notch that you have to mess with on the umbrellas that ive used before. I like the hard case so the wood doesnt get scratched from being in the car or wherever. It closes easily and I like how its kinda pleated looking when it closes. It would be cool if it were a little bigger or maybe not so shallow. Cause if its super windy and raining theres not much protection but overall I like it

> 3 dayI like the wind-proof and push button open and close features. The size of the umbrella when it is open is larger than most of that type.

> 3 dayI did not expect much from this umbrella. Typically they are pretty much the same. This umbrella is not only compact but well made. I even used it on a day when it was raining hard and windy. It stood up against the rain and wind. I stayed dry even when the windy got rowdy.

> 3 dayI like the weight of the umbrella, not too heavy, but heavy enough that you arent afraid it will fly away with a gust of wind. Teflon coated means the water rolls right off and easy to keep clean. Wooden grooved handle easy to hold without slipping because it is grooved. Good coverage, stay dry during those torrential downpours. Easy open and close button right above the wooden handle. I would reccomend this to a friend or family member.

> 3 dayI liked how it opens up completely with 1 button. That comes in handy when you have a lot of carry To close the umbrella completely is kind of difficult. I press the button for it to close then push it agaonst the wall to close it completely. I hope this is just difficult right now because its new. Its alot heavier than my other umbrellas though. Definitely not lightweight but extremely sturdy. It works really well during windy conditions as well!

Greater than one weekGREAT UNBRELLAS BUT ARE HEAVY. MY ADVICE IS TO TAKE THEIR COVERS OFF. PUT TWO LIGHT WEIGHT GROCERY STORE PLASTIC BAGS IN PURSE. IF IT DOES RAIN, AND YOU DO USE THE UMBRELLAS, PUT THEM IN THE BAGS, WHICH ARE IN YOUR PURSE. THIS WAY YOUR PURSE WILL STAY DRY IINSIDE.

> 3 dayI am very pleased with the Van Beeken umbrella. It has an accessible button for opening and closing. It is lightweight yet sturdy. Holds up to wind and fast drying. Very important when living in Southwest Fl, where rainstorms are any every day occurrence. Oh, and I love the carrying case. Would definitely recommend !!
