This umbrella was very nice to use. The push button open and close feature was easy to use. It has sufficient coverage in the rain. Only issue I didnt care for was the weight of it. But overall this umbrella is a very good product. I would recommend it to others. Update: less then a year later, its rusting, and I let it air dry open. The button had stopped working. Have to manually close it now which isnt easy to do. Im pretty disappointed in how long its lasted.

This is an excellent umbrella. It is easy to open. It has a nylon bag to keep water from dripping and a zippered case to store when dry. I love the zippered case! It protects the umbrella from being damaged in the car. It will always be ready to use when you need it.

This umbrella comes in a padded zippered capsule-shaped soft case which lends an upscale and stylish view to onlookers when it’s simply waiting for use in your car, home or office. When you unzip the case you find that the umbrella is swaddled in the usual waterproof cover most of us have seen before. But this umbrella is far from the usual. The smooth wood handle is not only beautiful with its tool engraved Van Beeken signature but the handle feels nice, natural and is easy to grip for small ladies’ hands like myself and the button is easy to push triggering the umbrella to open. I tested this umbrella out on our Florida vacation on a windy, rainy night was able to keep myself dry while walking around to get my toddler out of her car seat and the umbrella also resisted that dreaded wind hazard that promptly sends your umbrella to an early grave with its ability to turn your umbrella inside out.

It is a well built umbrella. The wife claimed almost immediately upon its arrival but I did manage to take it out in the rain when she was distracted. It is a nice size to carry if you expecting rain and comes in a very stylish case. Great accessory for a rainy day and my wife is enjoying it

This is a really high quality umbrella. The umbrella comes in a sleeve and semi hard case. The sleeve and case have zippers on them to get the umbrella out. The umbrella shields me from the rain and the buttons on the umbrella are functional and serve their purpose. The umbrella is light, compact, and great for traveling. I would highly recommend this umbrella.

I purchased the VAN BEEKEN Umbrella Windproof in Black. I used it in the rain and it was amazing! I loved that it dried almost instantly, kept myself and child dry. I also like that it opens and closes by just the press of a button. Some umbrellas are hard to close and you get pinched by the button on the top, but this one is very easy to use, pinch free! It came in a zippered case, which is very handy for traveling and compact. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I had been looking for an umbrella that would fit inside my briefcase for a while. I found this umbrella that is small enough and very small weight but also repels water very well because it has a Teflon outer layer. Very satisfied.

I never write reviews but this umbrella deserves one. It is not functional. It opens with such force that it flies out of your hand. Then the umbrella didn’t even stay open - I had to hold it up so it wouldn’t collapse and it is nearly impossible to close. The last time I opened it, it went flying out of my hand, the shaft and handle detached from the umbrella and the spring fell out so it is now in the trash. DO NOT BUY IT!

I was very pleased with the Quality of this umbrella. It opened & closed easy. The product felt sturdy & I felt it will last for a long time. I liked the carrying case it came with. It alowes me to carry it in the car with me & it is protected while traveling. The umbrella worked very well in the rain & the Teflon coating allowed me to put it away in a few minutes cause it was dry.
