I liked how it opens up completely with 1 button. That comes in handy when you have a lot of carry To close the umbrella completely is kind of difficult. I press the button for it to close then push it agaonst the wall to close it completely. I hope this is just difficult right now because its new. Its alot heavier than my other umbrellas though. Definitely not lightweight but extremely sturdy. It works really well during windy conditions as well!

It keeps me dry and the button close feature is legit. Fits in my bag nice due to small size. Haven’t used it in heavy storm but best stay in doors if that were the case. Let’s see how it holds up. Better than putting my shoulders up and getting soaked. Solid purchase for a basic necessity item. No regrets.

received my VanBeeken umbrella and was so surprised in the excellent construction and design that went into making it. Ive never paid that much for a umbrella but, Im glad I did. The ease of opening and.closing it was worth it. I barely had to touch a button to open and close. I am older and have lost my hand strength but, with this the operation was a breeze. The fact that it has a Teflon coating means it will never stain and water just rolls off. And lastly I really liked the hard shell, zip up case that comes with it. It slips easily into your purse or backpack. Someone put a lot of thought into making this. The tips over the arms are attached in a way that they will never come apart like other umbrellas I have owned. I had to give it 5 stars because I couldnt find anything wrong with it. So order it, you cant find abetter one.

I thought I had misplaced or lost my Amazon basics pocket umbrella, so I ordered this one and of course found the other one as soon as I did. This is basically the same as the Amazon Basics with a differently molded handle. Same size, length, and weight. Fits and stays in my coat pocket fairly easily (but sticks out a few inches.) To the reviewers complaining that its heavy-- yes, thats why it doesnt get ruined the first time a wind hits it, like all your cheapo mini umbrellas have in the past. To those complaining about the sleeve and the case-- I dont see how they add much bulk or weight, but I completely fail to see the point of them... I cant even get the umbrella back in the sleeve now that Ive opened it. The zipper case is kind of neat but I dont know why Id want to use it. I wish they had left these things out and just sold the umbrella bare for a couple bucks less. Ill update this if it fails after some actual use, but I dont really expect it to.

This is the best folding umbrella Ive ever seen. It folds and unfolds with the touch of a button which is welcome in a sudden cloudburst. It comes with its own carrying case which come sin handy when you have to put it away wet. The umbrella seems quite sturdy, with a wooden handle and seems like it could handle a strong wind. For less then $22 Id say this is a best-buy and a must-have.

6/5/2019 My thoughts on my purchase of the Van Beeken Professional Umbrella The first thing that I noticed right away, was the zippered hard case the umbrella came in. And, much to my surprise, there was another softer case protecting the umbrella. The handle was wrapped in bubble pack to protect it, another plus. With a push of the button, it opened without a hitch. With a push of the button, it closed without a hitch. I have never had an umbrella that opens and closes with the push of a button. Umbrella’s I have owned in the past only closed when you had to fight with it while pushing down to close as I got rained on. So much for protection with that kind of umbrella. It happened to rain tonight with a considerable amount of wind. The umbrella held up beautifully. I highly recommend this umbrella.

GREAT UNBRELLAS BUT ARE HEAVY. MY ADVICE IS TO TAKE THEIR COVERS OFF. PUT TWO LIGHT WEIGHT GROCERY STORE PLASTIC BAGS IN PURSE. IF IT DOES RAIN, AND YOU DO USE THE UMBRELLAS, PUT THEM IN THE BAGS, WHICH ARE IN YOUR PURSE. THIS WAY YOUR PURSE WILL STAY DRY IINSIDE.

I think this Umbrella is a great investment. It is big enough to cover you and things if you are carrying them. It is also sturdy enough to hold up in high winds. The carrying case is a plus and is also very sturdy and well made. I am quite impressed overall.

I was very pleased with the Quality of this umbrella. It opened & closed easy. The product felt sturdy & I felt it will last for a long time. I liked the carrying case it came with. It alowes me to carry it in the car with me & it is protected while traveling. The umbrella worked very well in the rain & the Teflon coating allowed me to put it away in a few minutes cause it was dry.

I really like the design, the handle is pretty but not girly so it can be unisec. The button that opens it is tight. Especially that it closes it without having to reset it or the weird metal notch that you have to mess with on the umbrellas that ive used before. I like the hard case so the wood doesnt get scratched from being in the car or wherever. It closes easily and I like how its kinda pleated looking when it closes. It would be cool if it were a little bigger or maybe not so shallow. Cause if its super windy and raining theres not much protection but overall I like it
