Its razor sharp. It cuts meat and turkey in precise thin slices. Still i havnt used it for salmon , but I assume it will be as good.

This knife made slicing brisket so much easier than a standard butcher’s knife. It was reasonably priced as well. I have had zero problems and have been impressed after slicing several briskets, ribs and hams.

This is a superior quality product. It does an outstanding job slicing meats - roasts - etc. very thin. Smooth action. Finally a decent carving knife.

This knife is EXTREMELY sharp right out of the box--be careful! The length is perfect for what I purchased it for, cutting large turkeys or other meats. It has a nice heft to it, but is not too heavy for easy use. Highly recommended.
