It took me some time to learn how to use this program. Finally I got to the point where I mastered some basic editing techniques. Then, when I went to save my work, I got a message that the save work would have a watermark, unless I purchased a monthly or yearly service plan. Would never buy this program again.

Ive been using this software for almost a year now and I love it. As some that does not like overwhelming software, this was perfect for me. It is simple and easy to use, the website comes with LOADS of videos, images, music, SFX, aftereffects for FREE. As well as they offer memberships if you want to have the premium features available. Cheap software and easy to use. I like it.

I wanted something that was easy to use and was intuitive and logical- this product delivered. I was up and running in a matter of minutes and completed my first video in a couple of hours. Can’t beat this for the money spent. Only thing it doesn’t do is type overlay. Not a big issue as the title slides had great effects and lots of flexibility. Great product for beginners looking to do semi professional videos

Like the a lot of reviews stated previously, the program was very easy to figure out despite the set up on the computer was is German. I played around with the program putting a video together, but when it came time to download or burn to a dvd, a page came up wanting me to pick a membership fee starting at $39 annually. There was also a free membership, but it stated that there would be a watermark added to the video. I thought I would try the free membership, but the registration wanted my e-mail address and my password. At first I thought they meant create a password for the membership, but it wouldnt accept my create password. It wanted my e-mail password. Now the program is useless to me since Im not dumb enough to give out my e-mail password. Why isnt this type of stuff listed in the product description before you buy. This isnt the first time I bought a program, and once I started to use found there were hidden requirements that werent disclosed prior to buying. The program seem like a good and easy program, but since it had this hidden requirement, Im giving it a 1-star (actually zero since I cant use without being extorted out of my password to my e-mail). If Im doing something wrong, and this isnt the case, please someone let me know what Im doing wrong so I can use this program.

After switching to Windows 10, my old editing software didnt function, so I purchased VideoDirector. I was pleasantly pleased at the ease of setup and began editing my video. My last software package was somewhat difficult, actually, more technical for my needs, but VideoDirector was remarkably simple. Within an hour, I had completed a short video. Adding stills was simple, as was adding short video clips. Then came the feature I appreciates most, adding music. Again, very simple. Wondershare Filmora designed and supports this product and it was easy and accomplished everything I needed for home videos. There are other features; sharing on social media, etc. that I wont use, but its there if I elect to do so. Maybe Ill dive into that arena someday! For the price, one can not go wrong. My last editing software was five time the price and was too complicated; not at all user friendly. Its nice to be able to use software that does not require an encyclopedia sized manual to operate.
