VideoDirector - Edit, Cut and Optimize Videos

Nice video editor. Install was easy, couldnt figure out some of the features, but went to the filmora website FAQs and got it figured out. Tons of features, only thing missing is the ability to create a menu when burning the video to DVD, only a minor complaint

You will find out after you purchase it, that unless you upgrade to a more expensive version, all your videos will be water marked, and the features in the program are simply very basic at best. Look for a better product, yes it might be more money, but it will save you time and money.

After switching to Windows 10, my old editing software didnt function, so I purchased VideoDirector. I was pleasantly pleased at the ease of setup and began editing my video. My last software package was somewhat difficult, actually, more technical for my needs, but VideoDirector was remarkably simple. Within an hour, I had completed a short video. Adding stills was simple, as was adding short video clips. Then came the feature I appreciates most, adding music. Again, very simple. Wondershare Filmora designed and supports this product and it was easy and accomplished everything I needed for home videos. There are other features; sharing on social media, etc. that I wont use, but its there if I elect to do so. Maybe Ill dive into that arena someday! For the price, one can not go wrong. My last editing software was five time the price and was too complicated; not at all user friendly. Its nice to be able to use software that does not require an encyclopedia sized manual to operate.

When installing it I got a message that this version would not work on my computer. I emailed the software company for a solution but got no response. I’m very disappointed.

I bought this software because my old video editor expired, and I just wanted software that I could pay for ONCE and use for simple video editing. Well guess what, once I finished editing my first project it wanted a subscription fee to convert to MP4 without leaving a g*dd*amned watermark on the video. What a bunch of crap and a complete waste of money.

Extremely difficult to navigate. Very poor help screens and directions. I bought this mainly to trim down old VHS tapes videos I am converting to digital. I almost gave up on it but I finally found some 3rd party YouTube videos that helped me figure out how to use this. also, during the install process everything was in German! Like I said, in the end it did what I needed

It was kinda confusing but after a while some made since. Not for beginners.

It took me some time to learn how to use this program. Finally I got to the point where I mastered some basic editing techniques. Then, when I went to save my work, I got a message that the save work would have a watermark, unless I purchased a monthly or yearly service plan. Would never buy this program again.

I think that being a new application is missing more. To insert a transition or set audio volume up by sections you must divide the track and to export to another resolution a video an embedded image loses the change. If we talk about advantages, this software is fast and has the necessary functions.

So i got this hoping to edit my videos! Very upset right now that any video i recorded with my phone or action camera witch you site supports keeps telling my it cant it has issue with format butnit says this program supports videos tooken ofnph9ne yet i cant pu5 them on to edit. I was so excited for this to come an use i5 an very upset its not working i tryed to use the help serv8ce bu5 i5 was no help cause i5 says it supports ph9ne videos yet a cant put them on it!!
