Greater than one weekThe instructions and help files are stylishly minimalistic, but so is the progress you make under their guidance. But once you figure some of it out for yourself, its behavior is reasonably consistent. Its that cliff at the beginning of the learning curve that saps your initial enthusiasm. If you dont mind mixing a little cryptography with your video creation, this might be for you.

Greater than one weekVideo Director is extremely user friendly. I was able to use right away, creating a video for my YouTube channel. The tutorials are organized, easy to follow and understand. Definitely worth the price.

> 3 dayIt was VERY VERY glitchy. Then when they updated the system it became unresponsive and it took me 2 days to finish my Youtube video. I almost threw my computer out the window I was so upset. It would not allow me to finish my video in time to put it out to my viewers @ RandomNestFamily.org. As I was about to cry, my hubby came in and finished for me and it took him 8hrs to just edit an audio on filmora. Never buy this, ever! Never Again. If I could return it, I would in a heart beat!

> 3 dayI bought this because of the favorable reviews. They were right, this was very easy to learn, right out of the box, first time. They say it doesnt have all the bells and whistles of better editors, but as a beginner I needed the intuitiveness and ease to learn it. It was also at a price that wouldnt break the bank, which was an added bonus. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayNot a lot features. Very basic. At this price it works though. I used it to rip and clean up some home movies dubbed from VHS. Perfect. Anything professional and Id probably look at a pro priced offering.

> 3 dayLike the a lot of reviews stated previously, the program was very easy to figure out despite the set up on the computer was is German. I played around with the program putting a video together, but when it came time to download or burn to a dvd, a page came up wanting me to pick a membership fee starting at $39 annually. There was also a free membership, but it stated that there would be a watermark added to the video. I thought I would try the free membership, but the registration wanted my e-mail address and my password. At first I thought they meant create a password for the membership, but it wouldnt accept my create password. It wanted my e-mail password. Now the program is useless to me since Im not dumb enough to give out my e-mail password. Why isnt this type of stuff listed in the product description before you buy. This isnt the first time I bought a program, and once I started to use found there were hidden requirements that werent disclosed prior to buying. The program seem like a good and easy program, but since it had this hidden requirement, Im giving it a 1-star (actually zero since I cant use without being extorted out of my password to my e-mail). If Im doing something wrong, and this isnt the case, please someone let me know what Im doing wrong so I can use this program.

> 3 dayI have been a user of this product only one day, but I am astonished at how intuitive it is to learn. Frankly, I was expecting to spend the entire day learning the product, but only after a couple of hours I felt comfortable. It seems like every time I feel the need for some feature I have not yet learned, I discover that the needed feature is already available and I simply had overlooked it. It is much better than I expected. The only negative thing is the length of time it takes to save the completed videos. This is very slow, but I suspect that all video editors have the same issue.

> 3 dayI spent hours trying to burn to disc and after each of ten different tries, the program would lock up and close each time. Amazon should be ashamed to sell this junk
