VideoDirector - Edit, Cut and Optimize Videos

After two days I edited my first video and I was very excited. Everything worked great and I felt like this would work well for me. As I tried to export my video I found that I would have a filmore watermark unless I paid more money. Not okay with that since I feel like they could have included all of the charges up front. So now I have to go shopping for another software…..

It seemed like a nice deal until I installed it on my PC and went through editing all my videos and then discovered that they want me to subscribe to an annual package to export my video without a watermark. Very shady and shameful!

Every click requires paying for an upgrade. Load a cad, pay for an upgrade. 7 day trial bs. This is a trap. Don’t buy it!

I like it very easy to use and gives you lots of free stuff and also green screen

This program is relatively straightforward, very similar to stuff I used in my teens (Im 33 now). Easy to navigate and understand. Many programs I tried in recent years made me feel like I needed a degree to use them, but this is very intuitive. Im discovering little things every time I use it that make the process easier or better looking. While some of the interfaces, like the text editor for titles, could be a little better, and I would have liked more access to royalty free music/effects/titles, overall, I couldnt be happier with this software for the money. I highly recommend this program for beginning basic users to trim video, and add titles and transitions. The finished videos retain excellent quality, and look just a little more polished. Im super happy with it.

This product is everything it claims to be. Easy to use and produces a good product. I would buy this again. Price is excellent and the value is there. Highly recommend!!!

Not as user friendly as Id like it to be.

The biggest issue with this software is that there isnt any tutorial videos anywhere on it. If your a beginner then be prepared to spend hours with it learning. If your a pro, Im sure it is great for the money...

The instructions and help files are stylishly minimalistic, but so is the progress you make under their guidance. But once you figure some of it out for yourself, its behavior is reasonably consistent. Its that cliff at the beginning of the learning curve that saps your initial enthusiasm. If you dont mind mixing a little cryptography with your video creation, this might be for you.
