ViewSonic PX701-4K 4K UHD 3200 Lumens 240Hz 4.2ms Home Theater Projector with HDR, Auto Keystone, Dual HDMI, Sports and Netflix Streaming with Dongle on up to 300 Screen

I ordered the px748-4k for gaming and occasional movies. The input lag is negligible, so thats good. Color accuracy is okay, but in HDR mode, there is A LOT of banding. Black levels are the worst I have ever seen on any projector EVER. this is my 5th projector. I use a .8 gain matte grey screen, and blacks are light grey at best. I am not surprised as its to ve expected with DLP projectors, but this is especially bad. Anyway, all in all, i dock a star for terrible black levels, but otherwise decent value for the money. For daytime with lots of ambient light, good option. For dedicated theatre with light control, not so much.

Great product and the best home cinema ever

This projector is great. We use it outside to watch movies. The picture quality is great.

Own this for less then 5 months and already has dead pixels

I primarily use this for home entertainment - installed this in my basement to watch movies on the weekend with kids. (1) The image brightness is amazingly good - it is visible even with windows open (2) the video size is large and does not pixelate even if it enlarged (3) Able to connect Roku/Fire TV (4) Can connect external speakers.

Its was great

You wont find a 4k projector below 1000 like this, its stunning. Great customization with picture, fantastic for gaming even without the 240 hz, and its so easy to stick a fire tv in and connect to bluetooth speakers. I have it at 100 inches sitting about 13 ft back. But I could easily see this getting up to 200 ft without looking dim as its so bright at the moment. Great projector! Only thing, slight chromatic aberration that you notice from time to time. If youre sensitive about that you may want to look elsewhere, a friend of mine watched a movie with me and said they couldnt stop noticing it even though I didnt see anything.

This thing has an awesome picture. Waited to use it until by basement was completed. I have a Google 4k Chromecast which when the projector detects it, its making a very loud buzzing sound. Whenever the projector is not connected to the Chromecast its very quiet. When I switch it to the other HDMI, it randomly turn the Chromecast off and then acts like it detected again. Love the projector picture quality, not impressed with the noise or the sudden restart of the Chromecast.
