> 24 hourI already have a Ben-Q short-throw projector ... but wow, this ViewSonic redefines short throw. I can plug this into the laptop dock on my on my desk, and it projects a big screen image on the very wall that my desk sits against ... 2 feet away from the projector. This feels like the end of ever having to worry about whether your home theater is long enough to get a big screen image projected. That problem feels fully solved with this project. Its truly amazing. And the picture is fantastic, to say the least.

> 24 hourGreat picture and price. Can be a little loud, I definitely would only use in a windowless room.

> 24 hourLove this projector, use it for sports, movies ect.. The only thing I wish it had was bluetooth to hook up speakers. Overall though it is awesome. I have it setup in my garage we watch it sitting in my driveway.

> 24 hourWe had problems with this projector from the beginning. The picture is clear but it freezes every 10 to 15 minutes. Originally we thought it was the transmitter we connected to the machine but when we connected directly to the machine with a quality hdmi chord it still froze. I would not purchase this machine again. Very disappointing.

> 24 hourVery good projector if you dont have a lot of room to work with! The picture quality is great! The speaker sounds like regular TV speakers so if youre used to that you wont mind. Does blow out some heat but the fan works well to keep it cool.

> 24 hourLooked for a reasonably priced name brand 4K projector. So far we’re pleased. Set up a new basement Rec Room for an 80 to 100 inch display over a fireplace. The instructions and zoom lens got us to the right location pretty easily. Projection directly on a slightly off white painted wall worked out fine. The 4K and non-4K content works for us. It’s usable during the day with room darkening blinds but really shines after dark. We blue tooth to an older Bose sound system with an adapter using a Firestick 4K as the native projector is really a plug in setup which won’t work from the middle of a ceiling. It is like having our own theatre now! Recommended!

> 24 hourThe instruction manual is really brief. Most functions are self explanatory but I could not get the #$*% wake on hdmi signal to work. I had the wake on hdmi option to on and set power off timer to 10 minutes (which is correct). Finally realized that when the projector shuts down it cools for about a minute and the green power light flashes repeatedly while its cooling. When the light finally goes off THEN the projector will wake up when it receives an hdmi signal. Great picture, put it in gamer mode and tried some eldon ring and theres not really any perceptible lag at all, Im impressed.

> 24 hourI finally decided to buy a projector for hunker-at-home movies during corona times. This 4K projector, @ ~$900, was a great balance of cost vs functionality. @ 3200 lumens, its very decent brightness when the sun goes under, and decent enough in daytime. I chose not to buy a unit with advanced audio processing since I intended to use the projector with firestick. I also purchased a vizio 5.1 sound bar and use bluetooth to connect to the audio, and its been great. The down side of using bluetooth is that you do have to touch the sound bar remote to get it connected. however, saved hundreds of $$ w/o the advanced audio in the projector. One gripe: when the unit goes asleep due to non-activity, the screen goes blank, but it does not shut off the lamp. This seems a bit of an oversight that it could shutoff the bulb and save the bulb lifespan. All-in-all, pretty happy with it.
