> 3 dayThis projector is not native 4k and the throw rate according to veiwsonic from 5 mtrs is at least 120 inch I could only manage a90 inch projection on my 133 inch screen and went through all settings many times olso if u don’t use super eco mode fan kicks in louder I’ve been given a replacement from Amazon and hopefully it will be better as I’m not saying it’s a bad projector good pic remote is a nightmare but that’s me DONT take this review as not to buy as it’s worth the money if it’s not faulty as I believe my 1 is veiwsonic is a great company so recommend them for a budget 4k projector but would hold on for newer editions as there constantly bringing out better ones

> 3 dayLooked for a reasonably priced name brand 4K projector. So far we’re pleased. Set up a new basement Rec Room for an 80 to 100 inch display over a fireplace. The instructions and zoom lens got us to the right location pretty easily. Projection directly on a slightly off white painted wall worked out fine. The 4K and non-4K content works for us. It’s usable during the day with room darkening blinds but really shines after dark. We blue tooth to an older Bose sound system with an adapter using a Firestick 4K as the native projector is really a plug in setup which won’t work from the middle of a ceiling. It is like having our own theatre now! Recommended!

> 3 dayLong story short 3D is not supported. Got this projector and then had to send it in after contacting support about 3D function not working. After weeks they send it back and now the 3D button on remote brings up the 3D menu but I could never get any 3D movies working correctly. The manual and tech support stated this should play 3D. This is a disappointment considering my much cheaper projector can play 3D just fine.

Greater than one weekFor the pricepoint I wanted to buy at, this projector has worked great. I use it every day, and am typing this review on it. I do need to turn on all the shades by day in order to see a clear picture. As other reviews noted, the dark black is so black sometimes the projector is on and I dont even notice (Im guessing theres a screensaver option I havent figured out). I sadly do notice the rainbow effect on this projector when watching high-motion video. I have played computer games on it without the rainbow effect, so I only noticed it on a few action shows I watch. I had no idea what the rainbow effect was before researching it, but basically its a problem that will come with any DLP projector. All in all, the purchase left me wondering if there is a better model for $200-300 more which would have been fine for me to purchase. Overall though I am happy with it and no major complaints. Zero regrets buying a projector though I am sure with as much use as I get from it Ill expect to change the bulb or projector within a few years.

> 3 dayThis is a really nice projector doesnt need a completely dark room for the picture to be great the only gripe I have is I wish it had horizontal lens shift because without it the setup is a pain but once up and running it really is a great projector and it has picture settings witch some dont

Greater than one weekThe brightness is sufficient for use in the living room without fully darkening curtains. The top-down side way keystone correction and the zoom function make it more flexible to place the projector. Perfect for movies and playing exercise games.

> 3 dayDefective model. Power issue and dead pixels and color issues. Refund was the solution.

> 3 dayIts a solid projector that keeps its promises. It feels a bit noisy, but in eco and silent mode its bearable. Still a bit too pricey, even with all the nice features which should be a standard for theese products. Maybe go for the 1080p version since the 4k version isnt native but uses pixel shift, therefore the price difference seems a bit much.
