We had problems with this projector from the beginning. The picture is clear but it freezes every 10 to 15 minutes. Originally we thought it was the transmitter we connected to the machine but when we connected directly to the machine with a quality hdmi chord it still froze. I would not purchase this machine again. Very disappointing.

I’ve done a lot of research and this is definitely one of the best purchases I made. Because of the size and shape of my living room, I had to get a short throw projector to make the image fit my 100” screen from about 5 ft away. The projector is pretty bright even during the day. I like the 3X fast input feature that makes the gameplay more responsive. I can also connect my phone, or laptop directly to the USB-C to mirror my screen. The built-in speaker also produces decent sound that I don’t need to use external speakers. Pros: Bright Short Throw Quiet Decent built-in speaker USB-C connection with power Auto keystone Low input lag and gaming mode Cons: Remote is not backlit No horizontal keystone No USB type-A power Overall: I highly recommend this product for any home entertainment system and it works great if you have limited space.

My family uses it as a projector hooked to a PC. It works great for family movie night. It can be daytime with a bright window nearby and the picture still looks good.

nach der schnellen Lieferung wurde der Beamer an der Decke installiert. Das 100 Zollbild ist seht gut, scharf und auch die Farben sind einwandfrei. Der Beamer könnte einen Tick Leist sein, stört aber nur, wenn kein Ton vom TV übertragen wird. Fernbedienung funktioniert bei mir auch hier dem Beamer, nehme an, das Signal wird von der Leinwand reflektiert. Handbuch muss man vom Internet runterladen, brauch man eigentlich aber nur, wenn man ganz spezielle Dinge machen will

Bought this in Nov2022 and according to the lamp usage details I am nowhere near the life of the lamp but as of May 2023 it was already dead. I mean the projector was completely dead. Month 1: great, bright picture Month 2: noticed two dead pixels that show up as bright white dots but decided to live with it Month 3-6: picture seemed a bit darker or fuller as time went on Month 6: no longer turns on. The Lamp indicator light next to the buttons is red. Viewsonic said I would need to mail it to them to troubleshoot and repair.

This projector is great. We use it outside to watch movies. The picture quality is great.

Esta es mi triste aventura. El dia 1o de Julio del presente año 2022 decidi comprar este proyector, el cual aunque no es de la gama mas alta de 4k no obstante tampoco es nada barato, me daba un poco de aprehensión comprar algo tan caro por la red, pero pense ¿que puede pasar? es amazon!! la garantia de la A la Z etc. Despues unos 3 o 4 dias por fin lo recibi, venia en su caja 4k, se veia nuevo aunque le note algo de polvo y unas manchas de manipulación, asi como que traia cinta con el logo de viewsonic pero normalmente no vienen asi (ya que he tenido proyectores de esta marca en el pasado), lo saque, lo puse a funcionar....se veia excelente....pero....mi dongle (un Nvidia shield pro) me indicaba que no podia dar mas alla de 1080p, jamas 4K...pero pense ingenuamente que era algo de configuración, unos dias despues me sente tranquilamente a resolver ese problema...y despues de picarle aqui y alla....finalmente di con el clavo.....el problema no era mi Nvidia ....era el proyector!!!! NO ERA 4K ERA UN SIMPLE HD, un viewsonic pero de modelo anterior de 1080p. Al parecer alguien o en almacen de amazon o con quien sea que fuese el vendedor sustituyo el 4K con el 1080p los cuales practicamente son identicos!!! excepto por un logo que dice 4K en la parte superior y una calcomania con el modelo en la parte inferior, de ahi en mas la caja que me enviaron decia 4K, los instructivos,etc. Y quien no conoce el modelo facilmente puede confundirse, de inmediato al percatarme de ello solicite la devolución el dia 12, arribando a las instalaciones de amazon el dia 14, desde donde ha permanecido ahi sin ninguna novedad, incluso en la pagina de amazon aparece El reembolso se procesará cuando recibamos el artículo. y desde ahi no se ha movido. He contactado a servicio al cliente, los cuales me confirman que ya fue recibido pero que aun esta en proceso de revisión, hoy estamos a dia 20 de Julio (final del dia) y nada....cabe señalar que en servicio a cliente les señale que mi interes no es tanto el reembolso si no el proyector 4k, a lo cual se me dijo que no era posible por ser el envio de amazon estados unidos a México....(¿No son acaso la misma empresa?). Y simplemente que me tengo que esperar. ¿Hasta cuando?, quien sabe, porque aunque dicen que de 3 a 5 dias habiles para procesar esos dias ya se cumplieron. Asi que moraleja, mejor compren cosas de mas costo en persona, y dejen a esta plataforma para cosas chachareras o asegurense de tener una buena politica de devoluciones, yo mientras seguire esperando unos dias mas y si no pues tendre que escalarlo con mi banco por una devolución no recibida a pesar de que ellos ya recibieron el producto que compre de buena fe, pero me dieron gato por liebre. Actualización 22 de Julio: Contacte de nuevoooo a servicio al cliente el día de ayer, los cuales me dijeron que tendria que esperar hasta el 26 de Julio para ver si ya se inició la devolución. Hoy 22 de Julio Contacte de nuevo a servicio al cliente donde iniciaron la solicitud de reembolso (ojo solicitud de reembolso) donde me dicen que tengo que esperar 72 horas para que se inicie proceso de reembolso. Seguramente son horas hábiles, o sea hasta el Miércoles 27 o Jueves 28 de Julio. (Les creeré?) Así que a esperar, ya actualizaré está reseña, mientras tanto sigo sin proyector y sin dinero. Garantia de la A a la Z...hmmmm.....debo también señalar que desde ese día no he comprado ya nada en Amazon debido a que ya me causa desconfianza, lo que antes eran hasta decenas de miles de pesos mensuales y comentarios sobre toda cantidad de productos (casi todos positivos) hoy se han convertido en cero compras. Esperemos que cumplan lo ya prometido varias veces (aunque de antemano poco se puede confiar de quien promete varias veces y no cumple). Actualización 23 de Julio 2022: Despues de llamadas, etc. finalmente recibi mi reembolso en mi cuenta bancaria, aunque aun me queda el mensaje aqui en el sitio de que procesaremos el reembolso cuando recibamos el articulo. Me quede con ganas de comprar este proyector, seguire comprando en amazon, pero solo cosas mas pequeñas para no arriesgar demasiado.

1/30/23 Projector stopped working after a year and a half. Contacted Viewsonic and was approved for RMA and was informed that the bulb went bad. It’s a pretty good projector, but the bulb didnt last 20,000 hours in SuperEco mode as advertised. The bulb warranty is only for 1 year and cost ~$200 if you purchase a bulb through them. I decided to purchase a lamp from a third party and just had them return the projector without a working lamp. 3/7/23 Projector came in, i replaced the lamp and after turning it on I noticed that the image was warped in the middle and had to send it back to them for another RMA. 3/23/23 Projector came back and projected a perfect rectangle image out of the box. However, I noticed that the zoom knob was turned all the way to the left(when facing the projector upright) which projected a smaller image. After testing the zoom setting, I noticed that the device was only able to project a perfect rectangle shaped image when the zoom knob is adjusted to show the smallest image up to right dead in the middle. Shifting the zoom knob beyond the middle showed warping at the top center of projected image. I contacted Customer support to report my findings and was issued a replacement. And it comes with a bulb! 4/7/23 Projector came in and is running great again. Projected image is a perfect rectangle from the lowest to the highest settings using the zoom knob. It did come with a new lamp, hopefully this one lasts 20,000 hrs as advertised. Overall, it’s a solid projector from a solid company. The projector is bright, has low latency and high fresh rate. Perfect for gaming, watching movies or even using it as a PC monitor. Only downside was the bulb that came with my projector did not last as long as it was advertised. Customer support was great and responded in a timely fashion.

Im actually surprised how good this is for gaming. I know its advertised as a gaming projector but really didnt think Id use it over the TV. Im positioned about 4m away on a 120 screen and gaming is really good. No its not as bright as the TV but I only really game at night so its not the end of the world as its dark enough. Watching in day light isnt great. I have a window measuring 120cm x 210cm about 1-2m from the screen to the left of it and any time before 8pm (currently british summer), if you value image quality is pointless. Once I have blinds in the window Im sure it will be fine but I avoid daylight watching at the mo because its just too washed out for me. Once its a bit darker though its spot on. Dont bother with SD picture (depending on screen size) on 120 SD images are appalling. Go FHD or 4k though and things are so much BETTER and make sense again. Pretty easy to set up. Definitely fiddle with picture settings a bit. You can get so much more background detail etc when you play about compared to out of the box settings. Colours looked really weird on sport out of the box too. Just pause an image on the screen and see what looks best to you. Overall very happy at £700.
