Great resolution 1/2 the price of a monitor with less coverage.

This was easy to set up, had it running off a MacBook within two minutes. The short-throw lens is fantastic, but it also projects much wider, easily 100 inches. Picture is crisp, and resolution is great even for high FPS games, which is of course what this projector was designed for. Its also a light unit, very portable. I only wish it had included a padded case at this price. NOTE: if you live above 5000 feet or so, be sure to set the projector to high altitude per the instructions (in the settings menu). This will make the fan run a bit louder, but its worth it to increase the life of the projector.

Vorweg: Ich habe den Beamer nur wenige Minuten lang getestet, der erste Eindruck hat mich dazu bewegt, das Gerät zu retournieren. Zuerst die positiven Eindrücke: Der Beamer hat ein klares und helles Bild an meine Wohnzimmerwand geworfen, das muss ich ihm lassen. ABER (und damit komme ich auch achon zu den negativen Aspekten): Abgesehen davon, dass die mitgelieferte Bedienungsanleitung meiner Meinung nach viel zu ungenau ist und die EinstellungenMenü übersichtlicher/verständlicher gestaltet hätten werden können - kann man tatsächlich keine externen Lautsprecher mit dem Projektor (per Bluetooth) verbinden?! Da fühle ich mich mindestens ein halbes Jahrzehnt in die Vergangenheit zurückkatapultiert. Möchte man Kinofeeling erzeugen und deshalb auf einer einigermaßen großen Fläche projezieren, sollte das Gerät mindestens 4 Meter (würde aber eher 4.5 - 6 Meter empfehlen) weit von der Zimmer- oder Leinwand entfernt stehen. Der Sound kommt ja in erster Linie von vorne und seitlich - das bedeutet, ich brauche für meine Soundanlage ein mindestens 5 Meter langes HDMI-Kabel (?). Denn der im Beamer verbaute Lautsprecher ist unterirdisch schlecht (selbst für einen Beamer; da gibt es Geräte mit viel besserem Sound um weniger als ein Drittel dieses Preises, was mir schon komisch vorkommt). Schade eigentlich. Der Beamer sollte an die technischen Umstände der Gegenwart angepasst werden.

Works great and picture looks great, but it is not 4000 lumens and it is not 250ghz.

You wont find a 4k projector below 1000 like this, its stunning. Great customization with picture, fantastic for gaming even without the 240 hz, and its so easy to stick a fire tv in and connect to bluetooth speakers. I have it at 100 inches sitting about 13 ft back. But I could easily see this getting up to 200 ft without looking dim as its so bright at the moment. Great projector! Only thing, slight chromatic aberration that you notice from time to time. If youre sensitive about that you may want to look elsewhere, a friend of mine watched a movie with me and said they couldnt stop noticing it even though I didnt see anything.

I already have a Ben-Q short-throw projector ... but wow, this ViewSonic redefines short throw. I can plug this into the laptop dock on my on my desk, and it projects a big screen image on the very wall that my desk sits against ... 2 feet away from the projector. This feels like the end of ever having to worry about whether your home theater is long enough to get a big screen image projected. That problem feels fully solved with this project. Its truly amazing. And the picture is fantastic, to say the least.

el proyector px701 4k tiene una buena calidad de imagen y es muy bueno para juegos, pero para el precio tan elevado que cuesta deja mucho que desear , como que no tiene bluetooth ni wify , el ventilador hace un ruido como electrico y lo peor para mi es que necesita estar a unos 4 metros para hacer una pantalla de mas de 100 pulgadas , lo cual me impide las dimensiones de mi cuarto. des pues de probar con varios proyectores de 250 euros creia que por este precio seria un gran producto y se notaria su gran calidad pero me a decepcionado bastante ya que aparte de la calidad de imagen su definicion y fluidez para juegos , todo lo de mas no vale la pena, los puntos negativos tienen mas peso que los positivos, es unas 3 veces mas caro que un artli energon 2 o un toptro x3 pero no lo demuestra en la calidad final, demasiado caro para lo que ofrece.

Love the projector used as my living room tv on a 100 inch screen it has great image and shows up well in a sunny room but in the end I sent it back and got an 85 inch 4K tv my living room is a little to bright and I wanted a sharper pic but if your room can be darkened in the day this thing rocks
