First Ive tried for 2 days to get it set up. Thinking all I had to do was plug it and install the app. In Bluetooth i keep getting an error either app is needed to be used on device which i have installed it. Than i go to the app and it says device has been bound by others. I dont have no idea what that means. Well I decided to dig further in the little box and under the plugs i find 2 cards. And what do I find on one of the cards a FLIPPIN BUGGER!!! WHO DOES CRAP LIKE THIS? I mean I have many choice words I really want to use right now. Not being able to connect it and finding this I really wanna send it back. My kids dont even do crap like this. And no none of my kids got to the package b4 me. I opened the package it came with other stuff so it was boxed and inside another box. Im lost for words like really.

I found the product to be excessively complicated unnecessarily for the simple purpose it was designed for.

I have used these plugs with just the Vont Home app and also with Alexa. They are super easy to setup. I liked that I could set up a schedule in the Vont Home app to power something on/off at certain times and days of the week. I didnt have Alexa right away, but when I set up Alexa, with my granted permission, it integrated the Vont Home app and products without any hassles. I use voice commands to control one of the plugs and use a schedule to automatically control the other. I am extremely happy with this product and highly recommend these plugs.

Got these products last Friday! Sat down plugged then in and in 5 minutes I had a coffee makes that turns on when ever I decide I want a cup! I have a light in my kitchen that comes on at night so I can see where I am going! And saved on electric! Couldn’t be happier with these products! Well made, solid and we feel safe using them! Overall the Alexa enable Vont plug is super easy, youll need to create a Vont account to link to the Alexa platform, then you can control on / off functionality, set timers, and specified on / off times for anything plugged into the smart plug.

I received these smart plugs and put them to use right away to control the yard lights and my dogs water filter bowl. The packaging on these was clean and easy to open. Inside the box was a scratcher for a possible prize. Using the app to setup was easy as it discovered them right away. I was also able to connect with Alexa and google home with no issues. So far all has been good and have not had any issues. I almost forget that they are there since I no longer have to manually turn things off/on. Vont has come a long way with quality products which I own quite a few now.

Love this is a single plug size and doesnt block other plugs. Easy to set up and easy to use. The in app schedule and timer are a bit lacking. You can only create one schedule for on or off but not both. Its a bit odd. I ended up using alexa to schedule it with routines.

I received a pair of the smart plugs as a beta tester. Ive used another brand for a couple of years. It seems to not have a sunrise/sunset option in the app. I do like that if the AC power drops out, the light does not come on when power is restored. Overall, they have been working as expected for several months. Very happy with them.

It works

I am using this product for remote restart of many devices, like modem, router, saving me many tedious trips to the attic. It can also used to stop charging of phones, turning off lights, etc. Great product and easy to configure.
