Good monitor for the price

I had to return the unit because of the cameras randomly stopped syncing the visual to the parent unit- only the sound was working. I ended up going with another VTech unit.

Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I did a lot of research beforehand and wanted a few months to try this monitor out before reviewing. I bought this monitor as a second monitor. I’m using it with my toddler and using my Eufy with the baby. I have to manage two monitors which can be annoying, but this whole system was a good bit cheaper than a eufy add on camera. This monitor does what we need it to and I think it works just as good as the much more expensive one we have. And the battery life on this Vtech is SO much better! -The monitor stays very zoomed in. It works for seeing my child in his bed, but wouldn’t show the whole room for any independent play time when he gets older. -My biggest complaint is that the stand is terrible. It is just a little wider at the base so the monitor doesn’t stay standing even if you barely bump it or if it’s plugged in and the chord turns. If it wasn’t for this, I would have rated the monitor higher! -The picture is very clear day or night. -The two way talk works well. -It’s simple and easy to use.

Its not amazing and not HD but it works great, sound is good and quality is pretty ok for the price. Here is my old monitor from 4-5 years ago.

This monitor works great. We have the camera in the kids treehouse and the monitor in our home. I can see and hear clearly to assure safety. It also plays music and the camera can be moved by the monitor to see different directions. Furtherest distance is roughly 500 feet and no issues with transmission

This is a great monitor with two cameras for the price. Best I could find. I didn’t want anything fancy, but this still felt like a step up from our previous monitor because the camera pans. It does what we need it to, I like that I can move the camera. The controls, sounds and menu are a little annoying to me but it wasn’t worth returning and starting my search over again. I wish there were volume buttons on the side to easily adjust, but there aren’t. You have to select the menu for volume, adjust, and select again so it stays at that volume. Every time you select anything it makes a tone, as if to say “Ok! I got it!” Completely unnecessary, and slightly annoying especially when the house is quiet. Picture quality is pretty good - the closer the camera is the better quality you’ll have. Ours is set up across the room for our toddler - but I can see what I need to and pan the camera if he gets out of bed. We are currently only using one camera so I can’t say how easily it switches between cameras. Overall, great monitor- just took away one star for the volume buttons and selection tone mentioned!

We had a fairly cheap monitor that lasted us 2 and a half years but it finally gave out. We decided to get something a little nicer this time but was also affordable. I’m very satisfied with the picture quality as it is a huge upgrade from our previous monitor. The pan-tilt-zoom is also very nice. I can turn it to see my toddler and baby’s entire room. The zoom function could be a little better suck as just smooth zoom in and out instead of selecting zoom 1 or 2 but it is still very good. Mounting was very easy also and I lobe how the parent screen stands.

So far, it does everything it claims in the add. The TALK feature is not as clear as I expected but it works. The sensitivity level is great. Once my daughter fusses, the response is instantaneous and we are alerted. As said, its worth the price. I have not had time to monitor the battery life though. Suggestion to manufacturer... the camera should have a back us battery so it can be used during power outages.

I have a two year old and about to have a newborn and I tested out the camera in my sons room and absolutely love it. It also tell you how hot or cold it is in the kids rooms which is really nice! And the cost is perfect for two cameras! Battery life is also so good!
