> 3 dayOverall, a very good monitor and I got it for a great price! It was time to ditch the 1 camera in my toddlers room and we opted for this 2 camera system. The signal is actually fantastic compared to my old infant optics. Comes with wall mounts and hardware. We mounted it upside down near the ceiling so we can get a good view of her entire room. Unfortunately my youngest isn’t fond of his crib yet so we haven’t really used the split screen too much, but we have tested it out and looks good! Big screen which is an upgrade from the old monitor. It has a shushing sound you can turn on that helped soothe my son, I find this feature really cool. I do wish it came with two chargers for the parent unit, but the battery is actually impressive at the moment (if you have it on battery saving mode), so I don’t find myself having to move the charger often. I have had two issues: -one day out of nowhere, the temperature of my toddlers room just disappeared from the parent unit. I looked everywhere on all the settings playing around to no avail. Finally decided to unplug and plug back in the camera in her room and the temperature came back. I’m glad I was able to fix it easily but I was so irked that it even happened. -the parent unit suddenly has something loose inside of it. Like, something is moving around on the inside when you lightly shake it. It’s not affecting the functionality as of today (had the monitor for two months almost I think). We have never dropped it. I just hope it doesn’t end up crapping out altogether.

Greater than one weekI use this for monitoring rock tumblers I keep in another room. I just wish there were a few lower volume levels as the lowest can be pretty loud if the machine is loud. Though this thankfully has a visual indicator of loudness (green, orange, red indicator) and I can turn the volume off and still know if the machine is on, but I lose some information and its difficult to tell if its too loud if its already loud. I can monitor from 2 different angles with this device, unlike with a lot of others.

> 3 daySo far, it does everything it claims in the add. The TALK feature is not as clear as I expected but it works. The sensitivity level is great. Once my daughter fusses, the response is instantaneous and we are alerted. As said, its worth the price. I have not had time to monitor the battery life though. Suggestion to manufacturer... the camera should have a back us battery so it can be used during power outages.

09-06-2025We have been using a cheap small one for a year. The baby finally basically broke it and I bought this one to replace it. The screen is huge, the zoom is awesome, the battery life is much longer - all around this is what you want. Do buy the extra extension arm clip for 12 bucks. The only con I can come up with it that the screen wobbles a little and can easily fall over. Not a huge big deal, but worth pointing out.

> 3 dayThe monitor works fine, I just wish the monitor was bigger.

10-06-2025I went from a Samsung baby monitor to this one. The parent unit on my old one would only stay charged for maybe 15 minutes at a time and the back wouldn’t snap on right. This monitors parent unit will stay charged for DAYS! Seriously. I don’t use it a whole lot throughout the day, but it stayed charged and was at about 50% after four days without charging. My other monitor did have a few extra features that this one does not, but for the price.. you really can’t beat it!

Greater than one weekThis monitor works great. We have the camera in the kids treehouse and the monitor in our home. I can see and hear clearly to assure safety. It also plays music and the camera can be moved by the monitor to see different directions. Furtherest distance is roughly 500 feet and no issues with transmission

> 3 dayI was sent a USED item even though I paid for a BRAND NEW monitor. First off, I will say that I love VTech and this clearly isn’t their fault. Their products work amazing and I love them. This camera and monitor work just fine, thankfully. The issue is with Amazon. They sent me a used item that wasn’t even packaged properly. The monitor and camera were loose inside the box. It is also missing the mounting hardware which I really need.

Greater than one weekOk but not so user friendly volume is not so good way to loud and no other option but thefirst click and it is beyond loud also do not like the contrast for clarity Seems to not have a good picture as well as the handheld part is way to small Do your homework and research a good cam system for your little one

> 3 dayThis product would have been just fine if not for 2 super annoying features. Annoying feature #1: Sound doesn’t mute. On the parent unit it allows you to turn the volume all the way down to mute but then turns back on maybe 5 seconds later. Annoying feature #2: Bright light on child unit. Since the parent unit doesn’t mute, I turn it off when not in use (aka when I get into bed, right next to the crib or when I have to resettle baby back to bed - no point in having the whole house hear me struggle to do this). But when the parent unit is off, the child unit blinks a bright green light. What is the point of this? To let the baby know that I’m no longer watching? Eye roll. Of course I could just turn off the child unit but I’d rather not risk fumbling with it while the baby is sleeping. I’ve tried to cover the light with FIVE layers of electrical tape but the light still finds its way through some part of the unit. Blah. Likely returning. UPDATE: finally decided to return this. I tried to make it work but I just found more and more annoying things over time. I ended up covering the flashing light by wrapping a fabric headband around it. I thought that would ease my annoyance, which it did for a while. But then, one day while doing loud-ish chores I turned the volume on the baby unit all the way up. My baby woke up but I didn’t hear him cry until later because the unit automatically turned the volume down to level 1. So basically this monitor does not mute OR increase in volume. Maybe my unit was faulty, who knows. But this is def not worth $70! I switched to Eufy which was double the price but it’s already a million times better and functional!! TLDR; Don’t waste your time or money. This is so old school - it should not be on the market anymore.
