> 3 dayIt was a decent camera for the price. I have been through 4 baby monitors in less than 2 years. The first two were different brands, one stopped charging and and the other the monitor just refused to turn on. I was really excited about this one because I have a smaller v-tech monitor for traveling and love it. It just doesnt have the remote camera movement feature that this one does. I was a a bit disappointed in the picture quality compared to the other v-tech I have. Then one day I accidentally dropped the monitor. It wasnt a hard or a far drop, maybe a foot and a half to 2 feet fall, it simply slipped out of my hand. Now the screen is cracked. I am very disapointed in the durability

> 3 dayYou get what you pay for - by no means is this an expensive top of the line video baby monitor, but it has all the same bells and whistles but at budget quality. I am not disappointed in the slightest. It works. It’s not connected to the internet. It has good range. My only two critique are for future developers and not customers: camera range tilting down is a little ‘meh’ and the mic sensitivity is also a little ‘meh’. I can usually hear my LO holler from down the hall a second or two before the screen lights up. Neither of these things are really a big deal for me. This video monitor gets the job done and it didn’t break the bank!

> 3 dayWe bought this as a replacement after our 2nd motorola monitor crapped out on us. I decided to go with VTech because it was brand I recognized and felt confident in and we we’re sick of dealing with motorola. I chose this model because we’ve had 2 different Motorolas and have discovered the size of the screen and clarity is important as well as the pan tilt. Upon opening the box, the items looked great and sturdy. The mount is a bit ridiculous and we literally just used some 3M command Velcro on the bottom and mounted it to the wall right above our son’s bed. It works wonderfully! I noticed immediately there was no kick stand on the monitor to keep it propped upright, and the base wasn’t as sturdy as I would have liked. It tends to fall over and on softer surfaces, it won’t stand up at all. Once I turned on the screen I loved the size and clarity but my screen had a white line nearly in the center going across horizontally. While I was annoyed by it, it didn’t really obstruct the image, and I was desperate for a new monitor after 3 nights without one when our Motorola died unexpectedly, so I decided to just deal with it. Now, about 3 months later, the temperature indicator icon has suddenly disappeared. I messed with the menu to see if I could get it back on, but so far nothing has worked. *I unplugged the camera and turned the monitor on and off , then plugged the camera back in and now the temp is back on the monitor screen.* I’m now debating if I got a good product. I’ll be reaching out to the manufacturer if they don’t reach out to me first.

> 3 daySo far not much to dislike, straight forward way of use, wish I could turn it off manually when I shut camera off, monitor comes back on to tell me camera is disconnected. I know it is already because I disconnected it myself, but the monitor acts like it is an emergency...

> 3 dayPros: great camera and montor quality . Cons: battery life (less then an hour w/sound; maybe 1.5 hours w/o). Connectivity (never could get app to work. Using the monitor wifi connection I have dead zones in my house. Her crib is upstairs. So Ill loose connection with the camera in part of my kitchen, laundry room, and part of my dining room on first floor. These areas are directly below her room.)

> 3 dayWe bought this as a second monitor for our nanny share. For the price it does everything you need it to. I like the full range of motion, we use this when we travel and its easy to set up anywhere, you can always get a good view. Since its so small its also easy to pack. Battery life is also very good, our nanny uses it just for naps and it lasts at least a week between charges. Downsides are the controls are kind of finicky - to turn the sound all the way off you have to use a lot more buttons than seems necessary. The down/up arrows sometimes get reversed and you have to push them just right to get it to do what you want. Obviously the screen is small so picture is not amazing, but it works to tell if the kid is awake or asleep. May be a better view if you mount it, we always have it sitting somewhere since we move it so much.
