This monitor is wonderful. Very much worth the cost. The video is clear even when babies room is pitch black. It has some cool features such as showing the temperature in the babies room, as well as varying volumes so you can hear every single little sound, or only hear it as a baby gets louder. The only complaint is that the directions are very big and hard to understand. It took a lot of trial and error to figure out how to get the monitor and cameras to work

Screen is nice and large and picture quality is what youd expect for the price point. Few dislikes: non USB power cord, screen bezel is big making the unit larger than it needs to be, screen tips over easily, and the zoom is surprisingly too much for mounting above the crib. For reference we had a Eufy unit first then got this for our second child. The Eufy camera is mounted about 6.5ft above the crib and catches the entire crib and most of the rails. The VTech is 7.5ft up and still crops out the rails and parts of the crib. It mainly made mounting to the wall more tedious (ladder, etc). Basically it very much does the job and at a good price point. Upgrade to something like the Eufy and you get clearer picture, easier mounting/charging, better screen unit.

Pros: came with a mounting kit. Split screen and patrol mode Night vision Cons: battery life of parent monitor is a bit short! Theres lag on the camera, my son is pretty much a blur when he moves It doesnt seem that loud compared to my last vtech camera and monitor

Ordered this because it was highly rated compared to other options. Some complaints about this are that you need a perfectly flat surface for this thing to stand up properly because the base is too slim. My old camera had a flip-out stand which was much better. The settings are pretty limited, and as others have mentioned, the field of view is really narrow. The multi-camera view is annoying because you cant pan the camera while in split view, so if one kid moves, you have to change the mode back, pan the camera, then switch it back to split view and hope that your kids dont change position and move out of frame (easy to do with the narrow view). Charging is also problematic. If the battery is low and you want to charge it with the screen on, good luck--I have to turn the screen off for it to actually charge. Picture quality isnt that great, and Ive had issues where the temperature reading disappears randomly and I need to reset the camera in order to get it back. Giving it 3 stars because the connectivity seems decent.

I they work very well, I live in an old house and sometimes we loose WiFi connection because of the thick walls so I was worried about losing connection, but so far have used it for a month with no connection issues. The only thing I can complain about is that one of the cameras always goes to night mode even when lights are on.

It works well, but picture at night is a little less clear than I would have liked.

Had to buy a third party universal mount as it does not pan down far enough to use with the included mount. Probably just specific to our room layout. Aside from that, all the features work well.

Overall, a very good monitor and I got it for a great price! It was time to ditch the 1 camera in my toddlers room and we opted for this 2 camera system. The signal is actually fantastic compared to my old infant optics. Comes with wall mounts and hardware. We mounted it upside down near the ceiling so we can get a good view of her entire room. Unfortunately my youngest isn’t fond of his crib yet so we haven’t really used the split screen too much, but we have tested it out and looks good! Big screen which is an upgrade from the old monitor. It has a shushing sound you can turn on that helped soothe my son, I find this feature really cool. I do wish it came with two chargers for the parent unit, but the battery is actually impressive at the moment (if you have it on battery saving mode), so I don’t find myself having to move the charger often. I have had two issues: -one day out of nowhere, the temperature of my toddlers room just disappeared from the parent unit. I looked everywhere on all the settings playing around to no avail. Finally decided to unplug and plug back in the camera in her room and the temperature came back. I’m glad I was able to fix it easily but I was so irked that it even happened. -the parent unit suddenly has something loose inside of it. Like, something is moving around on the inside when you lightly shake it. It’s not affecting the functionality as of today (had the monitor for two months almost I think). We have never dropped it. I just hope it doesn’t end up crapping out altogether.
