> 3 dayI recently re-wired an ApriAire humidifier that was not properly installed by an HVAC tech using traditional wire nuts. The 3 wire Wago Lever-Nuts allowed me to quickly connect two existing 10 gauge wires and a 22 gauge multi-strand wire. Ive since used the 221 Lever-Nuts to replace two outlets and a switch. Wago Lever-Nuts are more expensive than normal wire nuts, but the ease of installation and solid connection every time is worth it to this Do It Yourselfer.

> 3 daySo its no surprise that anyone who wants to make wiring easy to work would look to something like the Wagos. Honestly, Im a big fan of the slide-in clip concept and hope they keep designing a foolproof concept that will make these a fantastic alternative to the traditional wire nuts. That being said a word of caution. These are becoming my go tos and I cant wait for the prices to drop and become even more reliable. Id love to see these be as tough as wire nuts as far as grips go, but Im not going to say they are that bad. I use to work as an electrician helper and while wire nuts have a more secure grip, these would be ideal in any new construction as this will create a serviceable splicer where you wont ever have to worry about having enough wire. WARNING!!!! If you are a novice and are just recently getting involved with electrical work, Id highly recommend trying to keep your cuts straight and long enough to reach the back end of the clip. IF YOU DO NOT CUT CORRECTLY, THE CLIP WILL NOT LATCH PROPERLY AND YOU WILL RISK AN ELECTRICAL ACCIDENT!! THIS IS AN IMPORTANT CONNECTION LESS YOU RISK ENERGIZING ANYTHING METALIC LIKE YOUR LIGHT SWITCH COVER, OUTLET GROUND SHIELDING, OR ECT. ANYTHING METAL CAN BECOME A CONDUCTOR SO PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR WORK BEFORE CLOSING UP!!

> 3 dayAmateur, household electrical work... Bought the WAGU to give them a try. No projects yet, but I can tell that they are going to be easier to use, and take up way less space than the old twist caps.

16-04-2025After coming across a video on YouTube with a electrician using this item in a demonstration. I had to have this item and I’m glad I did. I used it to hang a light in the bathroom and installation was a breeze. No more twisting wire and hopping they stay together while you twist the cap on and taping to ensure it doesn’t come loose. This item comes with a 2-5 wire connection which is wonderful. Hopefully, this review will help you to get away from twisting your wires together. Again, it’s super easy to use as you clip to your existing wire then the new wire or vice verses. Either way you will enjoy and never want to use to old method.

> 3 dayA game changer in safety and ease of use. When it comes to changing old outlets and switches for smart ones, the size of them renders some 1 and 2 gang boxes unusable. By using the Wago lever nuts, one can gain precious real estate the old nuts and old way of wiring, ate at leisure. I found some 1 gang boxes in my condo to be too small for the wonderful Legrand GFCI duplex receptacle USB C + USB C charger. In some rare cases, not even the Wago can help.

> 3 dayI like the ability to use these in an install and have it be secure. Being a DIYer I’m not very confident in my ability to get a stranded wire around the solid core and secure it with a wire nut. These are easily secured and easy to check if they are secure also. The strip gauge on the side is a nice addition.

> 3 dayI bought these for the first time to help with some crowded wiring I was doing in a remodel. Im using 12 gauge wire, which can be a struggle if theres a buy junction box. In particular, Ive been installing smart switches and USB outlets, and these devices take up a ton of space. These lever nuts really helped with making a safe, compact installation. Its VERY important to strip the wires to 11mm as the instructions describe, or the lever wont lock appropriately. I used electrical tape to keep the levers from popping up, but that probably isnt necessary. Bottom line - Ill use these from this point forward, regardless of being more expensive. I just feel the reduced size and stronger assurance of connection is important enough to warrant using them.

> 3 dayThese are becoming more popular for replacing the old common wire nuts in electrical wiring applications, Theyre popular in Europe, but not yet too well known in the US. Very simple to use: Just strip the wire (a stripping gauge is printed on the connectors side), lift up the tab, insert the wire, and close the tab. No special tools needed. The wire can be removed by reversing the process. These accept one wire per section: If youre joining four wires, youll need to purchase a connector with at least four sections. They accept any wire gauge from 24 awg to 12 awg, making them suitable for house wiring, automotive wiring, electronic work, etc. The manufacturer, Wago, also provided an access hole, so the assembled connector can be probed with a test meter or light after assembly.
