> 3 dayI love these things. I did some research on these before ordering them. They hold up under stress very well. These are the Cadilac of connectors (221 with the levers). They work with various different gauge wire (including 14 and 12). The levers may not stay down when sprung on the wire so as recommended by others, I wrapped the connectors with electrical tape. So easy to use and I believe they will hold up well.

> 3 dayI have used the 222 series in the past and they were great. The 221 series is even better. 1. The biggest difference maker in these 221 series vs. the 222 series is the fact that they are clear, so you can quickly and easily be 100% certain of a correctly secured conductor. 2. The reduced sized of these 221 series make life that much less difficult. There never seems to be enough space to cram your wiring where it needs to go, so smaller is definitely better in this case, and like the 222s you dont really need to worry about you connections getting accidentally disconnected while you finagle things into place. 3. Even though a lot of the fixtures Ive used lever nuts on have the ends of the stranded wires tinned out of the box, sometimes you end up with that stranded conductor to work with, these things make stranded wiring a non-issue. 4. These 221 series have a broader lever, sometimes on the old 222 styles it would get harder to get them open as the day goes on and youve opened a hundred or so up already. I have never cared for traditional wire nuts, it is very easy (and common) for them to be poorly utilized by the lazy or inexperienced person, and these make them all but obsolete in my opinion.

Greater than one weekIve used these Wago connectors several times and find them much easier then wire nuts. The twisting of wire nuts on a big job can make your hand sore and you dont have to worry about Wagos untwisting. They are a bit more pricey then wire nuts, but are so superior I wouldnt use anything else. Get the Wago brand, imitations are not as good.

> 3 dayOut of first 10 I took out 2 did not hold on one side. Otherwise, the ones I could use were great and better than the standard push in type. Mainly used duals but also like having the 3gang where you can use 2 wires, and have that third point to use test probe.

23-11-2024One size WAGO connector fits most sizes of wires. Very compact. Very stable over time. Testing port permits voltage testing probe easy access. Can be used one-handed, or in tight places.
