> 3 dayI have used it for work. I do a lot of work with graphic design software, mostly Adobe Creative Suite, which requires a certain level of computing capability on the drive. With the SSD, I can constantly get a much shorter time of opening, processing, and saving large files. It meets my expectation. A very good upgrade from a hard drive. PLUS, it is very light, so it doesnt add much weight to my bag, it is very important when I have to carry multiple portable drives with me for work.

Greater than one weekMy first SSD drive, and though its more expensive than a standard drive, there is a big level of ease, knowing that there are no moving parts to crash and destroy the platter... and of course all of the data on it. Very happy to have it, after going through the agony of 2 hd crashes in the last 6 months, and nearly losing a ton of photography and writing. Very compact and well mad.

> 3 dayThis drive runs hot and fast. Having a 2 TB capacity is also a major plus. If your system has SSD for main storage you need a fast drive like this for backups and such.

> 3 dayI have this hooked up as an external for my MB Pro 2018, and was hoping to use this consistently with reads/writes. The problem is any time I do any substantial work (software dev, not even image/movie editing) the drive tries to overheat on me. Ive gotten corruption twice already in the month Ive been using it. Id be surprised if it lasted a year before it bricked.

> 3 dayThis drive is small, fast and light and has enough space for what I do. Backing up files or doing large transfers are twice as fast as USB 3.0. This saves a lot of time and there are no moving parts!

> 3 dayBought this October 2018, the SSD Is great, but the USB cable is really bad, I keep having connection issues. I thought something was wrong with the SSD. I eventually bought a cable and everything works good. WD I expect better than this with your products. Get a better cable manufacturer for your products. A cable is a major part of any Portable drive, errors can occur with poor connections, even leading to damaged and lost files.

> 3 dayI bought three of these to use as convenient backup drives, and theyve served me very well so far. Fast transfer speeds and not a single problem so far -- Ive had them about a year.

> 3 dayI needed an external hard drive to have enough space for all the new video games that came out recently. I bought the SSD because I didnt want anything potentially slower than the factory PS4 Pro hard drive. Turns out I should have bought the 2 tb version because I moved all my games to this SSD for the quality of life it brings to my gaming. Load times are much, much faster. Whether its the initial load, fast traveling, details loading in, etc. Buyer beware, you will never be satisfied with a standard HDD hard drive after using this SSD.

> 3 dayLimited testing on an Inspiron 7573. No optimization beyond token attempts to keep drivers up to date. Windows 10, usable as D: second I plugged it into a port. No issues moving to other ports. Approximately the same size as a business or credit card, although not as wide. Will be lost the first time My kids unplug it. Downloading an installing a single Steam game at 10MB/sec Connected to usb-c port (has DisplayPort logo next to it) Writes to drive burst above 30MB/s but mostly stayed around 20-25ish. Avg response time 3-8ms. Connected to USB port marked SS for superspeed Writes solid at 20-23is, no burst, but response time 10-20ms. Please note, connected to usb-c i’ve seen write bursts to 140MB/sec. I don’t know if I can truly say the top speed of this drive, but the port on your machine may make a significant different
